It had been almost a week since Espn had passed out in the dirt with Melanie. After taking the world’s longest shower, Espn was mortified by her behavior. It was probably the worst possible way to act, getting so drunk that you sleep in DIRT. Gross.

So now she was standing on the porch of the Hades household, wondering if it was even a good idea to knock on the door. There was no telling who would be in there, who would answer the door. She also wasn’t sure she actually knew all of the Hades kids. It had been a while since camp, what if she just didn’t remember anyone? EMBARASSING. But despite her reservations, Espn reached up and tapped on the door with her finger tips, knowing full well that it couldn’t be nearly hard enough for someone to hear.

Waiting a moment, Espn took in a deep breath and seriously considered leaving and then trying to stage a meeting outside the Garrison or something. But then again, she didn’t want to seem like a coward, or become a stalker. Both of which were the inevitable result of running away. This time she beat on the door with more authority and waiting for it to swing open.

Melanie had decided to head down to the climbing wall to get in some practice when she heard a knock on the door. It was a good thing she had been in the hallway instead of in her suite, otherwise she would never have heard it. Jogging the rest of the way to the entrance, she stopped to look through the peep hole in the door. Recognizing Espn through the tiny picture, she was slightly startled. Melanie hadn't heard from Espn since the party, but now she was standing on their front porch.

Heaving the large door open, Melanie greeted Espn skeptically. "Hello. What brings you to our humble abode?" She asked with a hint of sarcasm.The house was anything but humble, with all credit for that monstrosity going to Aimery. Motioning for Espn to come inside, Melanie closed the door, suddenly realizing how imposing the inside of the house would look like to a visitor. They didn't often have anyone over other than the random business acquaintance. This could be interesting.

The word ‘relieved’ doesn’t even begin to describe the way that Espn felt when Melanie was the one that opened the door. She knew full well that any other Hades kid could have been bad news, especially that girl… Well, Espn hadn’t actually seen her much but she had heard from her sisters that the girl didn’t like Aphrodite kids that much. It was the main reason why Espn had avoided her in the first place.

“Hey, Mel.” Espn said with a little wave, noting the feelings of intrigue and confusion wafted off of Melanie, “Whoa…” She was in awe as she looked around. Now, Espn loved nice, luxurious things. But she also liked pink things and ‘classy’ things. Something about the gothic décor really made Espn shiver as she spun around in the foyer and observed her surroundings.

Well, at least she didn't scream. Melanie thought to herself as she watched Espn take in the grand entrance. "So, would you rather stay down here in the hallowed halls of the House of Hades, or would you like to rejoin the twenty first century in my suite?" She asked, moving to the staircase. They would need to at least head to the second floor if Espn wanted to talk in any sort of privacy. All of the rooms downstairs were fairly open and her sibling were only fond of their own personal boundaries.

Lilith was in the library. Banging and crashing could be heard as the child of Hades started to loose her temper. The Hell Hound who had followed her back from the Underworld growled and barked at her. "Be quiet, I don't want that idiot Aimery hearing youm or Melanie." she hissed. The Hound lay down. Lilith had be away for sometime, again due to Hades making a complete balls up of her list, so she had to spend nearly a month down in the Underworld, trying to get it sorted. After about half an hour Lilith emerged in the hallway, seeing a face she had never seen before. "Whos this?" Lililth asked, rather harshly. Well one she was overly tired, and two she wanted to throttle Hades for putting her a month behind her deadline.

Espn cocked an eye brow and look at Melanie as if to inquire about the noise. Before Mel had a chance to respond, though, a girl entered the room through a door Espn hadn't noticed before wearing a look of frustration. Her rude reaction to Espn's presence didn't make the Aphrodite girl like her any better. It wasn't the best first impression the girl could have had, that's for sure.

With a fake, overly sweet smile that was trademark of the Aphrodite siblings, Espn tilted her head to one side and offered her hand for the Hades girl to shake, "I'm Espn Cassidy, Mel's friend." Her voice was bubbly and dripping with sugary sweetness. If the girl had just been having a bad day, this would have been her chance to be nice. If the girl didn't take kindly to her now, Espn knew she wouldn't be able to like the girl.

Agora ignored the hand. "I'm in no mood to be nice to a nymph, so either get the hell out or stay away from me." Agora said.The hound snapped its jaws at the girl, saliva dripping from its jaws. "Bad taste in friends Mel. You know these Aphrodite kids are just lay abouts." Lilith hissed, her voice laced with venom. "So as hurt my sister, and I will feed you to Achilles." as half when Lilith threatened someone, it was never empty.

Espn narrowed her eyes, letting her empathetic feelers wash over the child as she examined her. This girl was sincerely being a bitch. Yep, this girl had made it on her shit list, which put her in the bad graces of ever Aphrodite girl on the island, and even some of the boys. Through her hatred, Espn smiled, “Oh sweetie, we’re not lay abouts. We just have a different way of fighting than others.” She taunted, referring to the nightmare of a vendetta this would cause Espn to have against the girl, “You’ll see, we don’t depend on people to be afraid of dogs.” Espn made a face at the hell hound that snapped at her fingers. Melanie had been her friend for a long time, this wasn’t anything new, “And lucky me, I’m not afraid of the dark.” Espn moved so she was standing closer to Lilith, who was shorter and obviously younger than the teacher, “Besides, unlike her sister, Melanie is a smart girl, she can choose her own friends.” She capped off her statement with a smile dripping in venom.

With one swift move Lilith drew her scythe. "Unlike you I don't go around sleeping with others to get what I want. Thats all you Nymphs are. Hookers." She hissed, pressing the tip of the blade under thr girl's chin. "You caught me at a bad time, any other time I wouldn't be like this. I'm normally a calm girl, but a huge cock up by my father has left me in a foul mood." Lilith glared. "I'm off to band practice. Achilles, stay and look after Miss Nymph." Lilith ordered the Hell Hound.

Espn stepped between Lilith and her assumed exit, "Bitch, you don't know a single thing about me." She pushed her hand into Lilith's shoulder, "I don't sleep around. I'm not a hooker, and anyone who thinks I am is a naïve, stupid little child. Maybe you should join my first graders in their weekly lesson on respecting your elders." Espn spat, ignoring the scythe. If the girl dared use it, Espn would report her to the Garrison for assault. It definitely helped that Espn was close to the Commander in this respect. It took all of Espn's self control not to latch on to the hate resonating off the Hades girl and wrap her hands around her neck. Sometimes empathy made her more violent than she intended.

Lilith didn't want anyone seeing her true emotions. Her best friend was a child of Aphrodite, and she had been captured by the Titans. Lilith went to her room, looking at the picture of her and Celestia at Alton Towers in England, having a good old laugh. She walked over the the night stand and picked up the picture. Lilith was laughing as Tia had her arms wrapped around her shoulders. "I will bring you home." she said, tears spilling from her eyes. She couldn't control her sobs, and just broke down. Lilith had had a past of depression, and her best friend being kidnapped only made that resurface.

The second that Lilith left the room, Espn got a whiff of her feelings. Tear pricked at the backs of her eyes and she looked at Melanie for a moment before following after the girl. She stood outside the door the girl's feelings were echoing from and took in a deep breathe, wondering what would be appropriate in this moment. She thought to ask Melanie, but her friend hadn't quite caught up with her yet so Espn leaned against the wall next the Lilith's door and waiting for Melanie to join her.

Melanie watched the exchange quietly. She had known the instant that Lilith opened the door that this fight was bound to happen. Her animosity against the Aphrodite girls was well known, and Lilith hadn't known Melanie at camp long enough to know that she had been a part of that crowd once. When the scyth had been drawn and Achilles had started growling, Melanie almost stepped in, but decided against it. Espn was handling the situation quite nicely, so she would leave her be. If Melanie stepped in now throwing around titles like older sister and boss, Lilith would never be able to accept Espn's presence and it would be an Aimery situation all over again.

Then, Lilith left suddenly. Realizing that her sister was upset, she had originally made to follower her after Espn until realizing that a fairly angry hellhound had been left in the hallway. She couldn't just leave the thing there, especially not Achilles. If Aimery came home, he would have both of there heads for not taking him back the instant he had been discovered.
"Alright Achilles. Back into the library. I'll have Lilith come get you later." She commanded softly, opening the doors for him so that he could reenter the room. Once he was back inside, Melanie made her way towards the living quarters to find Espn standing outside Lilith's room. "She's upset." Melanie stated, not needing to ask the obvious. She had seen the look on Lilith's face, not to mention Espn's. "Maybe you should go wait in my suite while I talk to her." This was not going to be pleasant and she knew how Lilith was about her personal space.

Espn shook her head, "I'm am empathy, Melanie," The Aphrodite girl said, "I can't just walk away. I'll wait here." Espn ran her fingers through her silky brown hair and wandered down the hallway a short ways until she found herself a chair to sit in.

The sound of talking came from Lilith's room. Top guess she was contacting either Persephone or Hades. Lilith hugged her knees, as she looked into the flames of her fireplace. Her emotions were in a mess, and she looked aweful. She sensed someone was by her door, so as a warning, she picked up her dagger and threw it at the door. It hit in the middle with a dull thunk. "Go away, I want my space!" she yelled.
