Tylar nodded happily in response to Abcde's question. Thank god the girl knew who she was, it would have been so weird if she didn't. Just as Tylar went to respond to the girl, she was interrupted by Pan. He had come up to talk to Abcde and suddenly Tylar realized where she had seen Abcde before. With wide eyes, Tylar turned to look at the stage, the dance-floor, well, pretty much anywhere but Pan. Abcde was circling him like a vulture inspecting her prey and Tylar wasn't exactly sure how to react. Then Pan said something to her that she didn't quite make out and Abcde was asking if Pan knew Tylar. "Uh...yeah, We've met before." Tylar nodded, looking at Pan, "Once or twice." She smiled and looked back at the stage, trying to make it seem like she wasn't at all phased by the awkward situation she had found herself in.

Eventually Cori made it to the bar, but she didn't bother Abcde who seemed to be rather tied up playing matchmaker for Pan and some other girl. Cori just wanted to be near Abcde so the ecstasy could affect her. She took in a deep breath of the air around the daughter of Bacchus and soon felt hazy enough to be satisfied. Granted, the ecstasy didn't usually make her feel so...
This was an unfortunate time for Taze to tap her on the shoulder.
The heat of his finger on her skin made her bite her lip a little longingly before finally coming to her senses for a moment. Still, she felt the overwhelming desire to pull that heat closer to her... what the heck? Was Abcde's ability on crack!? Cori soon replaced her little lip biting moment with a raised eyebrow and a look of contempt. She folded her arms across her chest, "It's Queen to you, sparky," she said-her voice just as cold as her skin. She spoke loud enough for him to hear, but he may have had to lean in a little.
Soon another guy was coming up beside Taze, apparently they were brothers. Unless they just called each other 'bro' like guys do. Whatever. "Friend?" she narrowed her eyes as Taze started to introduce her to Tristan, who was indeed his brother. She shifted her gaze to Tristan, even though every part of her body was telling her to remain focused on Taze. But, Tristan was pretty good looking too.
What the heck?
"Nice to meet you Tristan," she nodded but didn't offer a hand to shake. She never did. "I can't imagine having this clown for a brother. Must be a lot of work," she rolled her eyes but smiled a little as she looked back at Taze.

"So, the professors a little bookworm. Big shocker there," Masin joked. She smiled as Ember concluded that she wanted to hang out tonight-and Masin assumed that meant with her specifically. Which made sense because Ember had approached her even though she was on the dance floor surrounded by some hungry guys. Masin turned to look back at the boys as well, whose faces made her laugh a little along with Ember. "Is it just me or do the guys seem to be particularly on one tonight?" Masin rolled her eyes a little. She found that she too was searching out for an ideal guy to cling to for the evening, which wasn't something she normally did. No, Masin just through herself in the crowd where no attachments could be made and no one tried to take her home. She shook off the thought, this club sure had some weird magics going on-she was sure of that. "Need a drink?" she called to Ember as she gestured toward the bar.

Pan couldn't deny that he felt good tonight, like he could conquer anything. Or anyone, for that matter. He held still but smiled smugly as Abcde walking around him in a full examination. "Thanks, Abs!" he said as she brushed his shoulders a little and said he cleaned up nice. Pan knew this already, of course, he was just too lazy to clean up that often.
As Abcde sat on the bar stool, introducing someone on the other side of her, Pan sat down as well. He turned to flash a mischievous half smile at the person but when he saw who it was his heart stopped for a moment. It was Tylar. She was looking around the room as if it was really interesting, but finally she made eye contact with him. Tylars tone seemed disinterested as did her bodily behavior, but there was something in her posture that showed how tense she really was.
Pan reach out, gently tugging at her hand at her side, "hey, why don't you sit down?" he told her pulling her very carefully towards him, trying not to be too forceful but just enough to make her feel as though he wanted her near. Which he really did, just not for the reasons he should. Granted, there was a little something in the air tonight...

It had been a long since Geoffrey had attended parties. That was because he generally wasn't a person who was crazy about parties. He'd attend now and then for the fun of it and when he was in the mood to, but then he was fine with just blending into normal life. But now, he figured that it was time to attend another one, especially because it was at the new club that had opened. He was curious as to how it was like, and he was willing to give it a try. He was also in the mood to have some fun.
In all honesty, Geoffrey hadn't thought to wear anything fancy. He assumed that the club would be a public setting where people dressed casually, and that was how he dressed in most parties. Therefore, he had put on a t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers at his place before making the walk to the club. It hadn't been a long walk, and as a son of Mercury, he could walk longer distances without getting tired.
And so Geoff had made it to the building. He opened the door, and when he entered, he saw that it was totally a party in pull blast. Dancing attractive people, loud music, bar where alcohol was served...it all screamed the extremes of nightclub. And it was a nice establishment, too. Geoff had to commend Annabeth for doing a good job with this one.
However, Geoff wasn't a clubbing person and so he was a bit overwhelmed with all the activity taking place. He looked around him, wondering what he should do first. Um...to be honest the young man wasn't one to dance in a crowd like that, and the thought embarrassed him a little. Perhaps he could just sit at the bar? The people who weren't dancing were people he didn't know, and he wasn't one to randomly approach people. And so he stood there, trying to figure out what he should do first.

After a long day of paperwork and mission assignments, Melanie needed a drink. or ten. That was how she had ended up at a packed night club, sitting in a booth by herself. She had briefly considered calling Espn to see if she was coming, but had thought better of it. Calling someone would mean that she wanted to hang out, but she didn't, right?
Oh, who was she kidding. Melanie had been feeling a little nostalgic the past few days. When those feelings surfaced she tended to find the nearest Dionysus or Aphrodite kid she could and drank until she couldn't remember why she had ever left. Tonight, however, she wanted to dance and have a little fun, even if it meant going by herself to be with people she hadn't quite met before. Maybe if she was lucky she would run in to an old friend or two.

PARTY! It wasn't a party that was started by him, but it was still a PARTY and that was all that mattered to Bernard William Neville, son of Dionysus, prestigious farmer. Bernard totally loved Annabeth Wallace for opening that club and he was sure that he was going to hit that thing every night now that it existed. Bernie had quickly donned a black button-down shirt with a collar, a red tie at the neck, a pair of jeans, and vans sneakers, and he was ready to roll.
He had made his way to the club, barely able to contain his excitement. Usually Bernie was a chill and easygoing bloke, but he almost seemed ready to burst with excitement at any given time. But anyway, upon arriving at the club, he wasted no time in opening the door and entering through it. He very much liked what he saw in front of him, and his spirits soared greatly. This was totally a party in full blast. This was the LIFE. How could anyone NOT want to live like this for the rest of their lives? Bernie wondered if he ever wanted to step outside of the club after entering it.
So what should he do first?! Dance his heart out, drink, or mingle? When his eyes landed on the bar, he thought he'd do a mix of drinking AND mingling, because tah-dah, there was his favorite daughter of Hades! He already knew who Lilith was, but he knew Mel first as they had hung out in Camp Half-Blood. It had been a long while since he had really seen her last, but she looked older, definitely, but generally no different. Bernie liked Mel; she was nice and smart, and level-headed and easy like him. Lilith was a bit...grouchy. He wondered how Mel was like now that some time had passed. And, of course, if she was serious, he'd try to loosen her up.
And so Bernie went straight to the bar and sat down beside Mel, grinning. "Hey Mel! Remember me?" he said happily. "It's your favorite son of the wine and insanity god, Bernie Nev! Long time no see. What's up?" He looked at the bartender and ordered himself a glass of wine before directing his gaze at her again.

Melanie had seen Bernie enter the club, recognizing him immediately. He had always carried this presence with him that permeated the room, something that felt like pure energy with a hint of chaos. Once upon a time, she had liked that about him. Right now, however, it was a little intimidating. She hadn't seen Bernard William Neville since they had relocated to the island, and she wasn't quite sure if he had kept in contact with any of their former inner circle. Did he know how much she had changed, what had happened, or where she had been since the last time they had spoken.
The bartender had just returned with her first drink when Bernie sat down, which thankfully gave her something to do with her hands. Listening to the way he talked let her know quickly that Bernie hadn't heard through the grapevine that his friend Mel the Socialite was long gone. "Hey Bern." She replied with a small smile. " It feels like forever since the last time we got together." To her, it had been almost a lifetime.
"I haven't been doing anything besides working. Where have you been?" Melanie wasn't lying, at least. She had been working this whole time, and she really had lost track of Bernie shortly after arriving on Concordia. Maybe that had been for the best.
Downing her mixed drink, Melanie turned to the bartender and asked for them to bring her one of whatever Bernie was having. When the wine finally made it back to her, it tasted a little like a memory, bittersweet and strong. Clutching the glass like the Dionysus kids had taught her so long ago, she turned to face Bernie fully so she could hear what he had to say.

Bernie was seriously staring at Mel. Woah, woah, woah. What on earth was with her? She was so subdued, totally not the delightfully cheerful and giddy Mel he had known in Camp Half-Blood. For a daughter of Hades, she had been anything but gloomy and dark. She was being polite, but totally not upbeat as he had remembered her. Maybe the transition from Camp Half-Blood to Concordia had gotten at her? Or maybe her job whatever it was? Either way, he wasn't liking this.
He stared at her as if he could not believe his eyes. "Um, hello, lady, did Hypnos cast a sleepy spell over you or what? What's with the lack of vigor in you?" he asked plainly, ignoring her greeting. He wanted to choke on his blood when he heard that she had been doing nothing but working on Concordia. "Say what? You haven't even attended a single party? How on EARTH are you still alive?" He shook his head. "No wonder why you're acting like a zombie! What's gotten into you? I remember you used to be so lively, Mel. Full of spirit. What happened to the good old Mel?"
He took a sip of his glass of wine, still staring at her all the while. "Well, what do you do anyway that you find more interesting than having fun?" he asked. When she asked him what he was doing, he grinned. "Oh, I split my time between partying and farming. You know me. I only do what I like to do. Hard work isn't my forte."

"Sorry Bern, just not my scene anymore." Melanie sighed, downing the rest of her wine. Two drinks down, eight to go. Then again, either one of those kids with the ecstasy manipulation was running around or wine was much more potent than she remembered. She was starting to feel a little out of it, but a shake of her head had her focused again.
"I have been to one party though. Espn dragged me to one after she caught me in the woods one night. That was probably a few weeks ago. I don't have much time for it anymore." Damn, was this drink spiked? No, that wasn't it. Scanning the room, she caught a glimpse of one of the ecstasy manipulators. Damn it. She should try to get out of here before things got crazy.
Where the person she used to be had been was a question she didn't quite want to answer. It was beyond personal in the worst ways and it hurt her to think about the million reasons why she had changed. "After we got here, I went to work with the Garrison. I've been there ever since. It's long hours and not as much fun as we had planned before everything went down, but it gets me through the day." Yea, they had all planned to do things like party on her grandfather's yacht and host parties in exotic places when they were old enough to take care of themselves. Things had changed too much for that to be a reasonable outcome now. If she was being honest, Bernie would probably never leave the island again, and some day she would probably leave and not come back. That was the way the world worked now.

As per usual, Link didn't even notice that the crowd was acting any different than they had before he started to play. But, as he played, he slowly started to remember what Venus had told him. That he was somehow controlling the pheromones of the people in the room and cause them to get... well, crazy. That was what Link was going to call it. Still, he wasn't going to stop playing. He did start to get nervous though, considering the fact that he was sure his power was activated right now. Was it? How was he supposed to know?
He finally was able to take a break and made his way to one of the bars to chug a large cup of water. He didn't know anyone yet. He didn't have any friends thus far so he just sat at the bar, all alone, wondering if someone would take notice of him. Or maybe he should talk to someone first?

Ember Lynn shook her head with a smile, "Yeah, he likes to read. But then, so do I." She insisted. It was true, too. Although she did have an inkling to spend time with people every now and then and she wasn't talking about the terrible gala parties she was required to attend as Chancellor. She liked moments likes this one much better.
Emmy nodded and followed Masin across the bar, "Yes, anything you get is fine." She yelled over the loud music.

Abcde narrowed her eyes at Pan, flicking them back and forth between the boy and Tylar. Something was up. She could tell. Did he like her? Oh, this was going to be fun...
Abs leaned forward and wrapped her arms around Pan's neck, "So Tylar," She started grinning at the girl, "How do you know this idiot?" She asked sweetly, leaning her head on his shoulder as she spoke. She wished she could tell what they were thinking. It would be funny to be able to tell that they were both uncomfortable.

Taze put a hand over his heart, gripping his shirt dramatically and making sure he looked hurt, "Oh, Cori. You're killin me, girl." He whined, looking to Tristan, "Tell her, Tris. Tell her, I ain't so bad." Taze kept his voice sincere even though he was sure it was obvious he was feigning the actually feelings of being hurt.
He reached between Coeiander and another person to tap on the bar. He held up two fingers and nodded, knowing that his friend would know to get his usual. When the bartender returned, he grabbed the two long neck bottles and offered one to Tristan. He looked at Cori, "Let me buy you a drink."

"The best guy on the island." Tristan agreed, taking the bottle from Taze. He really hadn't come her to get drunk, but if Taze was buying...well Tris wouldn't complain. After taking a long swig of his beer, he turned to face Cori again. "Heck, probably one of the better ones of the island too." Tristan genuinely believed every word. His brother was one of his best friends, and even if he could get around some times he still was a good guy.
