Annabeth sighed and leaned into the bar, ignoring the rude catcall of some guy behind Link. He was demanding a fruity little shot for some Roman girl. AB just ignored him, not interested in responding to the pet name 'baby doll'. She wouldn't even answer to that if her grandfather called her that, why on earth would she respond to a random stranger that way, "There was a vodka emergency and, let me tell ya, there ain't nothin' worse that tryin' to by legal liquor out on the docks. It's like a smugglers dream out there." She laughed at her own statement loudly and reached into the cooler for a Budweiser.

Tylar opened her mouth like she was a little hurt by his words, "A shudder? Really? I was that terrible?" She mocked offense at his statement and looked at Abcde with a pouty face, "I can't believe he just said that about my hard work. Like it was terrible and not worth it." She looked at the table, "I just wanted to scare a bunch of teenagers away from sex using STDs and pregnancy..."

Taze shrugged, tired about talking about Pan. He wasn't here to talk about Pan, he was here to talk to Coriander, "Yeah, maybe." He leaned toward Cori, feeling an aura of cool air that seemed to surround her. Of course, he knew he must be wafting heat in all directions. A person behind him had quickly moved along after getting their drink, sweating from just being in proximity. It was strange to feel that burst of cool air. But if he was being perfectly honest, it was a pleasant feeling, "How's your drink?" He asked, taking a swig of his beer after asking her.

Abcde reached behind Tylar and punched Pan in the arm. She made eye contact with him where Ty couldn't see and shook her head like she was chastising him about being respectful to girls, "Oh, I'm sure he was just kidding, Tylar." Abcde laughed, lightly elbowing the Hebe girl in the arm, "Tell her you were just joking Pan." Abcde knew that Tylar was only pretending to pout, but she was banking on the fact that Pan wouldn't be able to tell, especially with that little sniffle Tylar just did. She was actually a pretty good actress.

"I dunno..." Masin shrugged with a not so innocent smile and took one last swig of her drink before placing the glass on the counter delicately. Every move she made was made with precision, as if she knew the world was watching her and she was okay with it. In fact, she wanted to put on a good show. "Just ideas about guys and boyfriends" the word made her chuckle. Asking Masin to settle down right now was like asking Zeus to stop cheating on Hera. It just wouldn't happen. But something was in the air right now... And that, mixed with Embers obvious happiness made for interesting thoughts.

As some guy called out to Annabeth from behind him, Link cringed. Was it his fault? No, no, right? The guy would most likely be acting that way no matter what. It wasn't Links fault... Still, he shuddered a little at the thought. "Hey, AB, I'm sorry about all the..." How wad he supposed to apologize for his gift? She still hired him, hadn't she? She probably already thought this through. He needed to calm it down. "I mean I hope my ability isn't making this place too rowdy."

As she started talking about liquor purchasing, Link just chuckled and nodded, as if he had any idea what she was talking about! He didn't know anything about purchasing that kind of stuff...

Suddenly, he got a whiff of a strange feeling... He looked around for whatever or wherever it was coming from and his eyes landed on a blonde girl in a small outfit not far down the bar. He just knew that's where it was coming from. Maybe she was a sibling of his... He'd have to investigate later.

As Taze leaned forward, the heat emanating from him was obvious. In a room full of people, the heat didn't feel that great. Not too mention the fact that she was afraid of melting... No, something else was different in the air too. Ecstasy was still coursing through her, sitting so close to Abcde but something was missing from a moment ago. Almost as if she had lost the drive to flirt.

"It's cool enough," Cori said with a bit of a mocking smile as she took a sip out of her glass. "Although, I'm worried it may get a little warm beside the two of you," she mock glared at the brothers.

Ember couldn't help but narrow her eyes in suspicion, but she quickly shook off the strange feeling and downed her drink. She could feel the eyes on her before she could see the little girl staring at her. Ember Lynn didn't know her personally, but it wasn't uncommon for her to be watched. Ember waved at the girl with a smile, trying her best to look like she was having a good, responsible time, "I just can't get away from it, huh?" Ember asked Masin without breaking her smile. She turned her stormy eyes to see her best friend, and tried her best to look like she wasn't annoyed with the attention.

Taze raised his eyes brows and leaned away from her, grinning as he did so. It was almost instantaneous, the lost feeling of cool air that seemed to hover around her body like an aura. He was suddenly on the brink of sweating, overwhelmed by his own body heat and the pulsing warmth from the club. His body also suddenly felt heavier, like this wasn't as much fun as he had remembered it being a moment ago. He narrowed his eyes but retained the grin. She sure was pretty, but she seemed to dislike him so much...What is even worth the effort? Although his normal answer would have been a resounding 'no', he felt drawn to the ice girl. Of course, it was so unlike him that he disregarded the foreign feeling almost immediately, "I'll do my best not to melt it, then." He teased, ignoring the nagging feeling in the back of his head that this wasn't going anywhere.

AB couldn't hold in her giggle and she leaned across the bar and looked into his eyes seriously, "Let me tell you something you really need to hear, Lincoln." She said, her voice reflecting how important what she was about to say was, "People in bars are assholes whether they get a kick in the balls from you or not. And you will never know who else around you can control others the same way." Annabeth motioned her head towards the blond at the end of the bar, "Take Abcde for instance. Thanks to Bacchus she can control ecstasy. Horny I can handle, completely off their rocker drugged up is a different story." She was blunt and to the point, hoping her words would help the drummer.

"But-" Cori started. She actually hadn't minded the warm air that was coming from him. She preferred to be cool, of course, but it was kind of a nice change. She leaned forward a little. "Hey, hey. It's okay if it melts a little. Plus," she took a long sip of her drink, making him wait for the end of the sentence. "I think we should dance," she said, suddenly reaching out and grabbing his wrist. DANG, that was really hot! She pulled him toward the dance floor.

Why was Coriander Pepsi, the coldest girl in the military pulling a guy out onto the dance floor? Truth was, she missed that flirty feeling from a moment before. Where had it gone? Whoevers powers had turned off needed to get it together because she liked that feeling and she wanted to get it back. Once they reached the dance floor she let go of him.

"It happens," masin laughed a little. she knew that ember was annoyed with people always staring after her and all, but masin couldn't understand why. if masin had her way she would be the center of attention all the days, all the time. granted, masin would make sure it was the right kind of attention. respect and possibly a glimmer of fear. she smiled at the thought before turning back to ember, "best thing to do is just play a little trick on the people who stare. do something they don't expect," she suggested.

When AB leaned in, Link instinctively leaned toward her as well to listen. Well, that was a little helpful to know that his ability didn't really change the way people acted in a situation like this... when AB motioned her head toward the exact girl Link had noticed earlier, Link listened even more intently. "She... okay," he nodded starting to understand. So the blonde wasn't actually related to him, but it was pretty similar. He laughed a little at that point, "I guess my ability is the lesser of two evils," he said, leaning back a little. "To be honest... I kind of want to meet that girl. See how she deals with it... although, she does seem to be having a good time over there..." he was somewhat talking to himself now, but that didn't matter. Abcde really did seem like she she was happy with the goings on around her. Would Link ever be like that?

Pan laughed as Tylar mocked offense and called out his shudder. Then he watched as she looked down at the table and her voice softened. No, there was no way she was actually upset about this! Especially after admitting to what she just did, "okay you literally just said that you were trying to scare us! I think my shudder was justified," he rolled his eyes along with winking at Tylar in a fashion. When he was punched in the arm he looked up at Abs with large eyes. Getting the message, he simply just stuck his tongue out at her. Then he put a hand on Tylars back, "Hey, you were a super shnazzy teacher. Promise," even though the uncomfortableness of the topic made Pan completely zone out....

Ember laughed and shook her head, taking a small sip from her martini, "If only I could trick people without the political backlash." She rolled her eyes before narrowing them at one of the guys that was staring at the pair. She grinned and elbowed Masin, "I think the teen wonder has his eyes on you." She said, pointing at the boy who looked like he couldn't be more than 16 years old. He was nursing what looked like a glass of water and, realizing the Ember Lynn had noticed him, was looking at the ceiling conspicuously.
