Braxton was never one to follow direction, not because he didn't mean well enough but because he just didn't remember. Did she say upstairs or downstairs? In the moment he hadn't been paying much attention. Now he was wandering down a corridor he wasn't sure how he had reached and turning the doorknob of a large double door. Looking down the hall against before entering the room, Braxton glared at the tall book cases and racked his brain trying to remember what she had said about the library. Walk through it? Avoid it? Too late for avoiding...
He poked his head around a shelf and saw a desk, was her office in in library? Now that didn't seem right...
A growling noise from behind a table alerted him that he probably should have avoided the room. He pulled a sword out of the air and backed toward the door, not intending to hurt anything that didn't attack him. He was out in the hallway again, dropping the sword out of existence. What the hell is he supposed to do now?

Achilles' growl had reverberated through her room, alerting her to an intruder. Sure, it could be Braxton, but just to be safe she grabbed the long knife in her desk before heading in that direction. A few flight of stairs later led her directly to a very confused colonel and a pissed off hellhound. She had to stifle a laugh before making her presence known. "Did you just want to pet a hellhound today? Achilles doesn't bite too much, if you'd like to try again." Okay, so he didn't bite her. He was a good guard dog, pun intended.
"Come on, this way." She indicated with the knife she had grasped in her hand. "I have her entire case as well as all of the immigration files from today. I also found the pictures you wanted. I made copies for you to take." Catching Braxton up to speed was going to take a little time. " I have to warn you, her initial files are thorough which means they are long. About two boxes worth of leads and reports from the initial search. There's also a few folders from things I've picked up since then. I'm assuming you'll want to go through everything individually." She finished as she opened the door to her suite and motioned for him to enter.

Braxton was barely listening to anything she had to say. It wasn't that he didn't care, but his thoughts were preoccupied with the thought that Olivia might be on the island, and now that he has had the opportunity to feel offended, he couldn't stop wondering why she didn't recognize him. Did he really look that different? She looked the same, only older. She was only 13 when she went missing and now she would be 18. That's a startling difference when he stopped to think about it.
Shaking his head, Braxton followed Mel's lead and ended up in her office, slouched in a chair lost in his thoughts. He was more interested in Olivia now than Olivia five years ago. Any lead they had on her back then probably wouldn't help them figure out why she was here now, right? How could it possibly, "You said you had a picture?" He asked with raised eye brows.

Melanie shook her head slightly at Braxton's distant expression before grabbing the folder containing the pictures she had just finished printing. "These are the ones from camp." She stated, grabbing the folder in front of her as well. "I also have the one immigration took this morning. If there was a doubt in my mind that it is Octavia, then there isn't now." Detaching the picture from the front of the file, she slid it across the hard wooden surface of her desk towards Braxton.
"Beyond that, this file is the most confusing thing I've ever seen. The name is wrong, and there isn't mention of a brother so far." She had spent most of her time away from Braxton studying the file and had come away with more questions than answers. "Maybe you can make some sense with it. Unless there's something you haven't told me, then this case just got significantly more complicated."

Braxton glared when she said the name was wrong. He snatched the file off the desk and leaned back, pulling it open unceremoniously and tossing a few sheets of paper on the floor, "Sabina, Sohpia..." He looked at the picture and shook his head, "She lied to them about who she was? Why?" He looked at Melanie as if she would know that answer, "I really can't comprehend why this is happening. This girl..." He held the image out, "...This is definitely Olivia so why?" He threw the entire folder to the ground, the papers rustled across the floor and folded underneath the file, "What the hell is going on? Where is she?"

After coming to post-pass out, Sophia was in the Chancellor's office, her head throbbing between her ears. After many sorry's and a few odd looks, Sophia was off to figure out if she could be an agent or whatever. The Garrison was an attractive idea to her and she always was prone to arguing so why not?
The house she had been directed to by Chancellor Hadley was large and a little too ornate. It definitely didn't suit well with Sophia more simplistic tastes. She stood in front of the door to the house...mansion...place and took in a deep breath before pressing a button in the wall. There was a little speaker that she leaned toward and spoke into, "Hi, My name is Sophia Sabina. I was told to come here and meet with a Special Agent Thorn?"

Twice in one day. What were the odds? Melanie hadn't even formulated a response to Braxton's out burst when the intercom rang through the room, Octavia's voice making her skin crawl. "Wait there. Someone will be right down." She replied quickly, he eyes not leaving Braxton as she answered the request.
"well. Let's find out, shall we?" She said, moving towards the door. "You stay here. I'll grab her and be right back. And please, hide these files before I get back. It'll look suspicious. My room is just down this little hallway. Throw it in there." Melanie tried to be as undemanding as possible. Hopefully he would catch on quickly to what was happening.
On her way out, Melanie switched the leather jacket she had worn out to train in with a more sophisticated blazer hanging in the hallway. The stairs flew by as she ran down the steps to te front door and wrenched the monstrosity open to reveal the young woman in question. All these years, and here she was on Melanie's doorstep.
"Hello, please come in. I have an associate in my office, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind you joining our meeting." Her voice was calm and her expressions were well trained, but on the inside, Melanie was screaming.

It took everything Brax had not to follow Melanie out of the office. He gritted his teeth and tightened his grip on the arms of the chair he was sitting in, trying everything he could think of not to run down there and question his would-be sister.
He sucked in a deep breath and couldn't stand it anymore. Pushing out of the chair, he followed the footsteps, and then voices, to the front door. And there she was, standing in front of him looking tiny compared to the door of this absurd house. He almost called out to her but decided it would be better to hold his tongue for a moment. His breath was shaky but his voice came out stronger than he expected it would, "Yeah, I don't mind one bit. Please join us."

Sophia raised her eye brows at the familiar looking girl. Then the male voice interrupted her thoughts, "Oh, I met you guys earlier, right?" She smiled, suddenly realizing where she had seen them before, "My name is Sophia, but I guess you already knew that, right?" She held out her hand to Melanie to shake before clambering through the door to shake hands with the man, "What are your names?"

"Welcome to the House of Hades, Sophia. Why don't we go to on of the sitting rooms instead of my office. It's much more...homey there." Melaniereplied sweetly, beckoning Sophia in so that she could shut the door. When she was out of Sophia's line of sight, Melanie shot Braxton a questioning look, wondering what had gotten into him. Motioning to the informal sitting room towards her right, she answered Sophia's question. "My name is Agent Melanthios Thorn, but you can feel free to call me Melanie. This is Legate-colonel Wyatt of the Minotaur brigade."
"What brings you here today Sophia?" She asked, sitting in the only single chair in the room. It would allow Braxton to sit beside Sophia without arousing suspicion. "Feel free to speak in front of Colonel Wyatt. He is my commanding officer and therefore privy to most intelligence business." There. Now the damage control was done, even if she hated admiting that Braxton got to boss her around.

Braxton's jawline was hard as he gritted his teeth and gave Melanie a curt nod, hoping it would calm her down and quell any fear she had that he would be inappropriate. He followed the girls into the room and, instead of taking a seat, stood behind Melanie with his arms crossed across his chest. He nodded at the girl, doing his best not to break his steeled expression, as Melanie introduced him as her commanding officer. If he hadn't been so on edge, Braxton would have had to say something sarcastic about that....fortunately for Melanie, Octa-Sophia was sitting right here.

Sophia glared at the man, not meaning to. Why was he so angry with her? He didn't have to be rude. She decided to ignore him and devote her attention to her commanding officer. She shouldn't have anything to do with that Wyatt guy anyway, "Chancellor Hadley told me I could talk to you about potentially being a spy? I was interested in using my weird ability to help with the Garrison but normal work seemed boring." She regarded Braxton again, this time to give an example of what 'normal work' was, "What can you tell me about that?"

"Well, first off, I need to know what your weird ability is." Melanie hadn't come across any mention of a power in her file, but if it was telumkenisis it would only further their suspicions. That and she wanted her to say as much information outlook and in front of Braxton as possible. "As far as day to day work, it varies. Some agents spend most of their time working on the island, either working with the Garrison for training purposes, running internal intelligence operations, or helping with things like paperwork." Pausing for a moment to take in Sophia's glare, Melanie almost laughed. It was good to see him getting a taste of his own medicine. Instead, she just smiled knowingly and continued, happy that Braxton couldn't see her face.
"Other agents do off island operations. That job is much harder and in general more dangerous. Our number one priority is to find and prevent attaks from the Egyptian-Titan army. We also retrieve other Demi-gods and assist on quests. We're one of the more versatile groups, but we also are the ones that end up in the most trouble." Melanie knew she at least had to try to warn Sophia off the path, otherwise Braxton would probably be a little angry.
"But, before we get into that, why don't you let me ask you a few questions so that we can tell if you are more suited for the main Garrison. After all, Colonel Wyatt would need to sign off on your placement anyways." Okay, it was a lie, but hopefully one she wouldn't be caught on. At least not now.

Braxton almost laughed when she glared at him. It was such an Octavia thing to do. He shook his head and looked toward the door, thinking he could hear the ruble of that crazy ass hell hound from down the hall. He cringed and looked back at Octavia...Sophia....whatever, to see what she said her ability was.

Sophia bit her lip, looking at the blonde man strangely. Her head started to throb and she decided immediately that she didn't like him. He caused her too many headaches just from being around. She reached up and started playing with her 'S' pendant, looking back at the dark haired girl, Agent Thorn, "I don't really know how to describe it." She started, glaring as she thought about it, "Like if there is a weapon near me, I can call it over and use it." She said uncertain, "Like for example," She looked at a knife that was mounted on the wall decoratively. She held her hand out and will the knife to her. In a instant, it flew off the wall and threw the air, landing safe with the hilt in her hand, "See what I mean?"
