Meeting the honored • Masin

Tere sat on a bench near the entance to the mall, she had reached out to the girl that her sister had chose to be her maid of honor, so now she was waiting to see if the meeting would indeed happen. She had decided to go for something rather neutral when it came to her usual 'pirate' outfits, choosing a flowery and flowy white shirt that hung off one shoulder and a blue tank top under that. She was also wearing blue skinny jeans and brown leather thigh-high boots.

However, she chose to wear her floppy hat that she wore at sea whenever she wanted to keep the sun out of her eyes. With golden Aviators, she resembled every female celeb that loved to hide their identity. In her case, she just loved the hat and glasses. Now, to figure out who was this chick her sister thought of as a friend. She had told her though, when she reached out just where she would be so she could be found.

Masin had been contacted by Teresia Sine, one of Embers Olympian family sisters for a meeting. She found it was a good idea, considering they both were so close to Emmy. Masin was her made of honor and Teresia was probably going to be a bridesmaid if not part of the family line. Anywho, Masin wore dark jeans, a white shirt and a black blazer as she went to meet the woman at the mall.

She sat outside the entrance and Masin approached the woman in the floppy hat on arrival. "Amazing glasses, they really suit you," Masin complimented as she reached Teresia. "Masin DeLisle, nice to meet you," her smiled was wide as she offered a hand in greeting to the brunette.

Tere gave the woman a beaming smile as she took the hand the girl offered her and shook it for a moment. "Thank you! I rather love them myself. And Teresia Sine, I usually go by Tere though when not on the high seas." She introduced before going on, "I thought it was time to meet the woman to be helping with my sister's wedding. she added with a light laugh.

"Tere," Masin nodded, committing the name to memory. She then pulled her hand away, chuckling a little as well. "Yes, well I am delighted to meet a sister of Em, especially one she speaks so highly of," she gestured to the mall behind Tere. "Shall we walk?"

Tere gave a soft laugh at the mention of her sister speaking highly of her. "I deny everything!" She teased before giving a nod to her other question, "We Shall, indeed." She said and then glanced around for a moment. She wasn't exactly the best at small talk, seducing yeah, commanding definitely, but just shootin the breeze. That was a whole other monster. Still, she tried.

"So Masin, which of my uncles are you the daughter of? Or are you from one of the aunts?" She said with a light laugh... Yup she totally sucked at small talk.

Masin chuckled at the 'I deny everything' comment, not entirely sure if she got the joke. Perhaps this woman enjoyed having a bit of a bad reputation? Well, she was a pirate after all. No doubt she took pleasure in being infamous. The two girls began walking together, slipping inside the doors of the mall.

Masin too sucked at small talk. She could lead a country, sure. She could give orders, give advice, lead battalions... but small talk was an entirely different thing. She often came across as callous, or terrifying. Well, she had to try, didn't she?

"Zeus is my father, in fact," she said proudly. "But I don't bother with that flying nonsense. Law and Order, that's where I come in," she stated.

Tere gave the woman a nod as they walked into the mall side by side and then glanced around the mall for a moment to once again get her barrings. She seemed to be spending quite a bit of time in this place. But then, she was a sucker for clothes... and shoes. No better place to find things like that then in a mall. "So have you met my sister's fiancee yet?" She asked with a bit of curiosity.

"Just in passing before I knew... before I knew of their relationship," Masin made it a point to try and know everyone on the island, but she hadn't met Dylan as Ems official lover boy just yet. "Have you?" rumor had it that he liked staying in and reading most of the time, which were two concepts Masin was not comfortable with. She liked to be out and about. Though, reading wasn't that bad.

Tere shook her head a little as she and Masin walked through the mall. She stopped for a moment to see what looked like an interesting place as she said "No, I haven't met him. Which is sad... I wanted to threaten him with bodily harm." Tere smirked at Masin and then glanced over at one of the little beauty boutiques. "It's the sisterly thing to do... how about we hit that place?" She asked as she nodded to it and then smirked a little more "So, have anything planned for her bridal shower or bachelorette party?"

Tere actually got a laugh out of Masin at the 'bodily harm' comment. She nodded as Tere recommended a boutique and made the turn to slip inside. "I've thought about threatening him too, but all I've got is an extreme talent for politics," he rolled her eyes and chuckled. There wasn't really much she could do to threaten him with that... at least not in the name of justice.

"Actually, I haven't thought about those yet! We should really get on it though. I'm assuming you're a bridesmaid?" Masin asked in terms of the parties and showers to come.

Tere smirked a little "Hell, even in politics I'm sure you could find a way to make his life a living hell. I may not care for politics, I may not even know a lot about it, but I do know that." She said with a bit of a smirk, walking over to one of the shelves to look at some of the perfume lined up on it.

Glancing back over at Masin she nodded a bit. "Indeed... I don't think I would have even known to ask that had she not asked me about it before." She said with a light laugh "After all, I didn't even know she had a boyfriend for the first week I was here. However, if you need help planning either of them, I'm more than happy to help. After all, who knows how to party better than a pirate?" She asked with a smirk and then picked up a bottle of perfume, sniffing it before she added "Well, maybe Dionysus' kids." She sad with a laugh.

"I'll have to think about it before I meet him," Masin chuckled as Tere suggested that politicians could threaten too. She really could, and she was intimidating enough to do it, but she wasn't entirely commited to the idea just yet. Still, it was fun to think about....

"I didn't know she had a boyfriend until quite recently as well," Masin tried to sound casual, but there was extreme bitterness lying in her tone. She had been dating Dylan in secret for two years all while maintaining the job that Masin wanted... she could use it against her in campaigning, she really could, but she didn't want to. She wasn't that cruel, and Em was her best friend... even if it had hurt. "Well, Dionysus kids... don't really plan. They just do," she observed. "We should have the shower first, of course, and have the Bachelorette party the night before the wedding, of course."

Tere smiled softly to Masin and nodded then sprayed a bit of the perfume she was holding on her wrist to see how it would smell on her. She could detect the small amount of bitterness in the girl's words but then, if Ember had been keeping it a secret from her own sister, than she could guess that keeping it from her friend wasn't a short leap.

Instead of worrying about it, Tere turned her attention on the idea of the shower. "Yeah, perhaps we could make it a surprise... Just one day show up with all her friends and tie her to a chair for a few hours." She said with a light snicker.

Masin wasn't big on perfume, or anything of the kind. She thought it smelled nice, of course, but it wasn't something she liked to use herself. She lifted a pair of earrings however and surveyed them closely, just trying to keep her mind on something other then Ems two years of lying for a moment...

Luckily, Tere didn't dwell on the topic. Masin smiled at the idea Tere gave, "actually, a surprise wouldn't be a bad idea." She laughed with a large smile. "Hmm... maybe we could have the party on that ship of yours? The Song is it?"

Tere smiled at the idea that Masin brought up herself and nodded to the woman. "Well, The Siren's Song is her full name, I and the girls just call it the Song because we are lazy little bitches." She said with a slight laugh and then continued "But I do believe that could work quite well. Maybe invite her aboard to a sail, she hasn't even been aboard the Song in all the years I've had her. Then once at sea everyone can pounce on her like a pride of lionesses." She said with a light laugh.
