Tere arched her brow at the girl, but smiled softly. "It wouldn't be an intrusion, The Siren's Song always has room for more abled bodies to work her deck. But if you don't want to, that's fine. The offer is open." She said politely and then turned her eyes to the ocean once more. "Being a pirate is no easy feat... the movies make it look like so much fun, it's not always fun." She said and then looked back to the girl. "Sorry... just thinking out loud."

Smiling politely, Trinity nodded and said sweetly, "I really appreciate that! Maybe I will." Not. She shrugged and stood up to stretch, prancing over to her cooler and grabbing a bottle of coconut rum and a two liter of Coke. She sat back down and steadied her glass between her legs so that she could fill up her glass with Rum and Coke, "You want some?" She asked nicely, hoping to stray away from the conversation about the ship. Trinity was just too girlie and cared too much about her nails and her skin to do something so....labor intensive.

Tere nodded as the girl said that she would think about it, but something in Tere - that instinct that told her who would and who wouldn't make it on a ship, especially a nearly 200 year old sailing ship, for a few months - was telling Tere this girl was in no way willing to go near the Song. It was tough to see someone who was more girly than she was. But then, even as a girl she had her tomboy side. Still, working the Song didn't keep her from being pretty.
She was pulled out of her thoughts as she watched the girl stand, stretch, and get herself more liquor. Tere gave her a polite smile and nodded, holding out her cup. "I'll just have a bit of the rum, thank you." She said, she wasn't the kind of girl to mix her liquor with anything other than more liquor most days.

Trinity grinned and handed the bottle over, taking a sip of her own sweet concoction deeply before laying back again. She could feel the buzz of the alcohol running through her veins and it was wondrous, "So how long have you been....a pirate?" She asked, as if trying to confirm that Tere was, in fact, actually a pirate. Trinity couldn't figure out why anyone would be a pirate in the modern age unless they had watched too many Johnny Depp movies.

Tere relaxed back with a shrug and shook her head "About as long as I have had The Siren's Song. It's freeing really, I am in command of my own little world, I get anything I want for free if I so chose and people fear me when they see the Song's sails on the horizon. They know what I can do with their ship, so they much rather just give me what I want than see their ship on the bottom of the ocean. So how about you? Do you do anything outside of the acting? Or are you just that?"

For a split second, Trinity's face dropped and she stared, opened mouthed, at Tere like she'd been slapped in the face. Then she was back, grinning and nodding, "Yep, that's basically it." She said sweetly, pretending like she hadn't been insulted, "I mean, I guess I am also some kind of spy, but my commanding officer doesn't expect too much from me." She giggled, "Makes me feel kinda bad." Not really. She didn't feel bad at all.
