PERSONALITY Though Cass is a dedicated Hunter of Artemis, she is also a kind soul. She does what she has to for the good of the island as a whole, not out of selfish reasons. In a way, this is what has made her a sort of den mother for the intelligence department. Do not expect her to fall in love, as she takes her vows very seriously. That's why she also won't go to parties unless one of the other agents forces her or it's a work thing. HISTORY Though Cass is physically 23, she is probably much older in real life. She doesn't quite remember what year she was born, but she is eternally young in her mind. That makes sense, considering she is a Hunter. Her early life has become hazy at best over the years. She remembers being loved, for a while. When it comes down to it, she knows that something went wrong somewhere. Her mother abandoned them when she was very young, causing her father to become a gambler and an alcoholic. At the age of sixteen, or was it seventeen, her father was arrested for drunk driving and she was left on her own. Cassie struggled, a lot. By the time she reached 23, she was beyond ready to give up. She was homeless and borderline helpless, but she never quite gave up. She had a warriors soul, even if those times were long gone. Or so she thought. One cold winter night, when everything seemed to be over, Cassie broke in to an exhibit on Greek Gods and Goddesses in order to spend the night. It was warm and comforting, especially the area about Artemis. Cass read for hours through the books and other materials in the exhibit before coming upon the oath all hunters had to recite. A few long moments later, Cassie was unexpectedly claimed as a hunter and brought to be with her new sisters. She's never quite hated men as much as the others do, but she does still avoid them like the plague. After the battle of Camp Half-Blood, all of the hunters were sent to Concordia with the natural born Demi-Gods. Here she joined the ranks of the Garrison as a special agent. She is one of the few that has lasted from the beginning and a mentor to @accaila. If she had wanted the directorship, she could've had it.
