((ooc: I couldn't pick an outfit so just assume she's wearing what's in her hover xD)) Jazlyn's shift was almost over by the time midnight rolled around, but the party would keep going for a while longer. That's why she was excited for tonight. The early release would give her some time to mingle and have a little bit of fun herself, which she normally didn't do. Pouring her last drink and sending an appreciative wave towards the bartender taking over her duties, Jaz slipped off the jacket she had been wearing and left it behind the bar to approach the dance floor.
A few minutes of dancing with whoever was free left her parched. Since the alcohol didn't phase her the way it did a normal person, she decided to hit the bar for an empty glass so she could pour it herself. Finding an empty spot next to a cute guy, she slid in and order "the usual" and smirked at the strange look a blonde bombshell on her other side gave her with the bartender didn't technically give her anything at all.

Ethan found that Club Nysa was the best place to get all the juice on the people of Concordia. Plus, it was the best place to meet girls and basically just good around all he wanted. Not too mention the band was sick, Ethan was currently investigating them in fact. He knew that Club Nysa had something going on... some way to make the people even more excitable than usual. Now, he was sure it had something to do with the music.
However, he wasn't dancing right at this moment. He was just watching the band from afar, sipping a cold drink and keeping an eyebrow raised. Soon, however, a girl sat beside him and his attention was drawn to her instead. She ordered a drink and it appeared in her hand. He raised his glass to her, "Alcokinesis. Impressive."

"It pays the bills and keeps the boss happy." Jaz teased, raising her glass in return. The guy wasn't a regular, that much she was sure of. If he was, she would've seen him and that dazzling smile before. Mentally kicking herself, Jazlyn tried to remain cool even though she was already feeling way out of her depth tonight. Turning to face him, she held out her hand in a basic greeting. "The name's Jazlyn. Jazlyn Devora, but you can call me Jaz. Daughter of Dionysus, if that wasn't apparent." The introduction was a little bit too formal for her, but she hoped that the smile she gave him would smooth things over a bit. Damn that drummer kid with the pherokinesis for throwing her off her game.

"Awe, I thought something was weird about this picture. You're usually on the other side of that bar, aren't you?" he said, remembering that she was indeed one of the bartenders. Down the way he saw Abby on duty and he shivered a little. He turned his attention back to the girl as she introduced herself. "Jaz, it's lovely to meet you," he said, lifting his glass to her again. "I'm Ethan Marsters, Son of Pluto, Junior Editor of DGTV, and basically the most awesome person you're going to meet tonight," he winked at her and laughed, knowing he sounded like a tool but not really caring. He found it funny, hopefully she would too.

Jaz laughed, lifting her glass in return. "Well, cheers then Ethan. Glad I started at the right place tonight." Sipping the alcohol even though it wouldn't get her drunk, Jaz turned to look at the band for a moment before commenting again. "So, what brings the Junior Editor of DGTV to our humble club? Surely we haven't caused that much of a scandal...yet." Finishing with a wink, she placed her empty glass back on the table to fill it up again.

"Cheers," he repeated, taking another sip himself. At her question, he swallowed the drink and nodded. "Oh yes, you have! More than once your club has sent home some miraculous duos. There's some pherokonises going on here, kid," he raised an eyebrow at her and narrowed his eyes. "Do you know who it is?" He smirked.

"It's not like it's a secret." She grinned, gesturing towards the dance floor and the band. "Our little drummer boy and our dancer are both pherokinetics. We don't advertise it, but we don't hide it either." Noticing that his drink was getting low, she waved her hand near it until it was full again. What the boss didn't know, couldn't hurt her. "Besides, most of those couples just needed...a push." She had seen the reports, and at least one of those couples should've been together back at camp, much less now.

Ethan followed her gaze and get gesture. So, it was the drummer. He had no idea. The dancer too? Wow. "Oh, two of them?" He started running over questions he wanted to ask them in his head, but he quickly decided that he wasn't going to worry about work right now.
Suddenly, his glass was full again after her little hand wave. He smiled, "I understand. It just makes our already brewing passions come out even more. Thanks for the refill," he said, lifting the glass, "My God given ability isn't cool. I just control shadows and stuff," he rolled his eyes with a little chuckle.

Jazlyn raised her eyes at the comment. "Controlling shadows, huh? That sounds nifty. Not much of a job market for a professional boogeyman though." Then again, anything was possible on their island of misfits. "And this isn't as cool as it sounds. Mine drives the boss up the wall with the technicalities. I can make anything, but if I don't like it, it doesn't taste good. She says I'm 'too picky'." The cool part was that it almost looked like one of those Jedi mind tricks, but her inner nerd needed to cool it. "I'd almost tell you to run for the hills. Their about to get going again and then things get...weird."

"Exactly," he chuckled as she called him out on not really having a marketable skill, God wise. He nodded as she explained hers wasn't as good as it sounded. "Aaw, I can see the set back. Well, this is good," he lifted the glass, "it looks like we have this is common," he chuckled.
Then she warned that the show was about to start again. He spun on his chair, resting his elbow on the counter beside him. "Ooh no, this is where it gets good. Is your shift over then?" He asked, looking away from the stage and pack over to Jaz.

Jaz giggled slightly as the band started to play. "Oh yea, I'm off." This was definitely going to be interesting. "Now watch. The people closest to the stage are about to go crazy, and when the dancer gets up the people around her will go off too." And there she went, Nevada up on to the little stage off to the side so everyone could see. "It's almost like clockwork, every time. I'm glad I'm behind the bar, or I'd be concerned." Normally it didn't mess with her, as long as she wasn't working the end closest to the stage.

So, she was off work? That was a bonus. He listened as she explained where to watch, and as the dancer got on stage and the drums started playing, the reaction went like a ripple. He laughed, and even more so when the affects finally reached them at the bar. "Wow, must be a riot watching this day in and day out. Well, probably day out more likely," he guessed. Clubs were busy at nighttime, this wasn't anything new. "So, here is my next question. Do we dance, or do we run away?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at her.

Thinking about it for a second, Jaz smiled before downing her drink and standing up. "Well, assuming you want the full experience, we might as well dance." And here she was, telling a reporter all about the club's secrets. She was going to get fired, but who cared? It was free publicity, and everyone on the island enjoyed a good scandal.
Reaching out to grab his hand, she lead him closer to the stage, but far enough back that the crazy voodoo the band was working hadn't quite hit them yet. The song was fast and the music was pulsing in the air, the perfect song for a night like this.

Ethan was happy with her answer, completely. He set down the glass and took her hand as she offered it. The girl really was beautiful. She wasn't the type he usually went for, though. She seemed much more level headed, brave and sure of herself. Ethan liked that. Ethan liked that he let himself like that.
Ethan liked that they were dancing together, goofing around and laughing loudly at the ridiculous people around them. He could feel the affects started to get to him, and Jaz seemed even more attractive by the minute. He pulled her close, "So, tell me Jaz... what happens next in order to have the 'full experience?"

Jaz smiled wickedly and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Well, Mr. Reporter. I think you know how this story goes." Gods, this was wrong. She knew better, but the long exposure to Link and Nevada had blurred her thoughts. Ethan looked handsome in the pulsing lights and she just wanted to do something stupid. Just once. "I think the only question now is pretty simple. My place or yours?" Where did that come from? Oh well, she had already said it and, if she was being completely honest, she wouldn't have changed her mind even without the extra help.
