After her walk on the beach, Seph made her way towards the mall, why though she didn't know. She was a rather odd girl, not a big shopper and such, but the developer in her wanted to check out all of the real estate, and since the attack, things probably didn't look their best, so she had the urge to want to fix everything up to look better again. Though, she wasn't a designer or a construction person, but she did have a lot of contacts in all of those professions. She found herself just walking through the mall, just window shopping of sorts before she came up on a weapons store.
As she walked in, taking in everything, she had to sigh a little... this place looked a little - how would one say - out of stock on everything. But then, with what had happened, this place probably had been the brunt of both sides, one side needing the weapons, the other just taking them to spite and keep the other side from winning. She gave another soft sigh as she looked around... what a sad sad little store this was right now. Pity.

Tristan had just finished taking stock of what still remained in the back room. Luckily, the store hadn't actually been looted. The metal bricks were still there, but the weapons hadn't returned. He didn't mind though. They had saved lives, and in the aftermath that was all that really mattered. As he reentered the showroom floor, he noticed that someone had ventured inside. "Hello, miss. I'm sorry to say we're all out of stock, unless you want to custom order something. Even then..." He said with a pause, running his hand through his hair. "It'll be longer than usual. Gotta get this place back in working order." The windows were busted and someone had scorched the tile. It wasn't bad, but it'd take him a while to get things straight.

The sudden voice brought her hazel gaze up from the bits of damage in the store. Who would burn tile? It didn't make sense, but then, she didn't know what went on in here. She gave a soft smile "Oh! No! No big... I was just... Taking in the damage. It saddens me that I wasn't here to help with the battle." She said in a polite tone glancing around again "Doesn't look that bad here in comparison to the beach..." She said as she looked back at him. "You say you do custom jobs though?"

"No, it's not bad in here at all. Mostly some scrub work from getting in to it with another pyro, a few places with some minor damage. It'll be some work, but it'll be back in business soon." Walking over to a rack that he hadn't put back to rights yet, Tristan stood it up before allowing the heat to surge up his hands so that he could easily bend the metal back in to shape. "Lots of people missed it. They weren't here long. Just enough to create chaos and then leave. So don't feel too bad."
At the mention of his specialty, Tris smiled. Of course he did custom jobs, it was in the name. "Yes ma'am. Everything in here is hand made by myself or occasionally a sibling, so everything can be customized."

Seph watched on as he went about fixing things in his shop as he told her that a lot of people had missed the battle and that she shouldn't feel bad. But it's hard not to feel bad when such things happen. However, she is thankful when he goes about answering her question. "I might have to order something soon then, especially to make sure I don't miss the next battle. What's your specialty?" She asked as she glanced around the rather empty shop.

Walking behind the mostly untouched counter, Tristan pulled out a rather large and messy looking book. "I can make just about anything, if you can sketch it. Most of my designs are originals, so you won't find the same thing twice. Other than my Garrison contracts, that is." The Garrison kept him busy, that was for sure.

Seph moved towards the counter looking at the book for a moment before she gave a bit of a laugh. "Well, I'm not a good artist... You'd likely end up making me a stick figure sword if I drew it." She said with a bit of a smirk. She may have been a developer but her job was more about getting everything together, all the people needed. She glanced at the book again and then back at him. "I'm Persephone, daughter of Hecate, by the way." She offered.

"Tristan, son of Hephaestus. If that wasn't obvious." Offering her his now cool hand, he turned to flip through the pages of the book. "Well, we could at least find a base design and then work off of that. What weapon do you normally use?" A little bit of real work would do him some good, even if he should be doing something else right now. Designing weapons was soothing, almost calming work. Actually making it would be even better.

Seph smiled softly and nodded before once more turning her eyes on the book. "Well, I haven't fought, really fought in some time... But when I was at camp I was fairly good with a sword, a short blade, but a sword. I like closer combat, it allows me to really use my power on them." She said and smiled for the first time a truly dark and almost sinister smile, as if she enjoyed the torment that she put her foes though. Which she did.

Tristan's brow furrowed in thought for a moment as he thought about a design that would work for her. "Alright, design wise, what are you looking for? Something ornate, but working or straight up practical?" Flipping through the pages, he found one sword that he had made for a child of Hades a few years back. The metal was custom ordered, black with deep purple gems. The short design matched what she had been talking about, but the detail work was pretty vast.

Seph gave a small shrug, she wasn't an overly girly type of girl, ornate things seemed to be more a girly thing than anything else. However, when she glanced down at the sword he was pointing out, she smiled softly. It could work for her as well, she was a daughter of Hecate, the woman controlled death. Or at least one aspect of it. She leaned against the counter carefully to take in the details of the sword before she lifted her eyes to his with another question.
"Can you do magical items as well or is what you see what you get?" His answer would dictate what she would mention to him.

Tristan shook his head. That would be a cool skill to have, but as far as he knew, no one on island could make those kind of weapons without a little extra help. "Unless the materials are already magical, there's nothing I can do with them. So if you happen to go on a quest and bring back some enchanted metal or gems, then maybe we can talk." Flipping through the book, he pointed out a few different things he had done with quest items. "I can make just about anything once I have it, but actually enchanting...that's above me. Probably above most of my siblings, if not all of us." It had been a long while since he'd done something like that, but he'd be willing to if he could.

Seph smiled "No, that's cool, I was just curious about that. Doesn't change things though." She said and then smirked a bit as he mentioned enchanted metal, even if she could find it, she wouldn't know where. "Well, unless I develop mount Olympus, I don't think I would know where to find that. And I don't think the gods would be amused... Well... My mother might be... She has a wicked side." Seph said, though she didn't know for a fact if that was true, she hadn't seen her mother since she claimed her. She glanced down at her bracelet and toyed with the charm a moment before returning her attention to Tristan.
"I think something close to a Roman Gladius - I know, ironic - would work for me, maybe a little smaller, lighter too but strong. I'm not big on gems, you could lose those... But maybe something with a ghostly shape?" She said as she continued to toy with the charm on her bracelet subconsciously.

"Yea, I could see them being fairly irritated with that." Tristan replied with a chuckle, grabbing a sketch pad and looking in to drawing what she was describing. Luckily he had become fairly good at it over the years, otherwise he'd never be able to describe what was going on in his head. "What about something like this?" He finally said after a long moment of sketching, sliding the paper across the table.
"It's got enough detail to be distinctive, but not enough that it's over the top. It'll also be a little lighter, given the grooves from the design. Still workable, but losing weight in places the overall makeup won't miss."

Seph watched as he worked on what she was describing to him, a light smile on her face for a moment before she stood straight again then cast her look down on the finished product. Her smile grew and she gave him a nod as she looked over the design. "I like that... Do you think you could add an engraving to the blade, or would it deminish its effectiveness if we do that?" She already knew what she wanted, it may not actually work, but she felt it would be fitting for her.
