Knight of my sister's kingdom. (Gregory)

It was another typical day at work for Nikolai.  He was a bartender at Club NYSA, his sister's lovely establishment.  He preferred it because it was lax on rules and regulation compared to other jobs.  He was eligible to be a healer, but he wasn't ready to abide by the drowning rules of the hospital.  Sure, being a bartender required him to abide by rules that made him a legit bartender, and he wasn't an ass.  He didn't mind being a decent bartender, polite and good with providing drinks.  Point was working at the bar afforded him more freedom to be casual and idle than a professional job, and he liked that.  He was also working for his sister, which was a plus because his boss was family.

He stood behind the counter, playing a game on his phone as he waited for someone to arrive at the bar.  It was empty today, and there was barely a soul to be seen.  Normally the club was a lot times more crowded at night, but in the morning it was like a ghost town.

Walking into his sister's club Dante found it was dead, which he thought was strange even if it suited his tastes a little better. As he approached the bar he saw his brother Nikolai, so it would seem he came on a good night. He called out and waved as he approached, "Nik! You look utterly swapped tonight." He smiled as he reached the bar. Dante then realized he wasn't really sure what he was in the mood to drink, it was his first night off in a few weeks and even then he wasn't normally a drinker. This would be an interesting evening if he couldn't even settle on something to drink. "How have you been lately Nik?"

The moment Nikolai heard someone approaching the bar, he glanced up from his phone.  He was ready to serve the person as usual.  Apparently, though, the person who appeared was not any regular being.  It was his brother, Gregory, the well-muscled and strong First Captain of the Garrison. Nik smiled.  "Yeah, the game I'm playing is definitely overwhelming," he joked back when Greg remarked that he looked swamped.  It was the opposite, of course, because no one strangely about. He yawned, feigning boredom when Greg asked him how he was doing tonight.  He wasn't entirely bored, for he had his game to entertain him.  "I feel absolutely dull," he said.  "Bet you were expecting me to say that I'm doing good just like other people would, huh?" He chuckled and then put his phone back in the pocket of his jeans.  "I hope you're feeling better than I am, though.  Want anything to drink, Greg? It's all on me.  I don't think AB would mind.  It is, after all, a sister's duty to ensure that her siblings receive more benefits than others."

"I feel absolutely dull," Nik said, "Bet you were expecting me to say that I'm doing good just like other people would, huh?" His brother chuckled and then put his phone back in the pocket of his jeans. "I hope you're feeling better than I am, though. Want anything to drink, Greg? It's all on me. I don't think AB would mind. It is, after all, a sister's duty to ensure that her siblings receive more benefits than others." Dante laughed at his brothers generous offer and comment that their sister surely would't mind. Dante was the outsider in his family of sorts, while they all either were healers or in the entertainment industry he was a soldier, sometimes it helped just connecting with them to see how they were doing. Leaning over the bar he grabbed a glass and a bottle of Jack Daniels, he poured two fingers and then took a sip, "Nikki you really want to put words into our lovely sisters mouth? I am not to sure how she would appreciate that." taking another sip he added, "Thanks for the drink. So what else is new? We haven't seen each other in several weeks what with all the training I have been running and putting myself through. Only interesting news for me is that I was shot by one of Artemis' hunters the other day, Nathan fixed me up though."
