SICKLY SWEET | TERE

Tere smiled softly, leaning her head against his touch. "Makes me wonder what our little world would be like if we were out there, then." She said with a more playful smile, her eyes turning to the ocean for a moment, before looking back to him with another smile. "Might have to show you one of my places in the Caribbean, you might really like it, I kept the island as untouched by people as possible." She said, thinking that he may really enjoy the tropical island that was basically a hidden gem. Tiny, filled with all sorts of lush vegetation and tropical fruits. She was sure it was even devoid of most animals aside from birds and bugs.

Ashton laughed at the idea. It would be interesting, that was for sure. " I'd love to see it if they ever start letting us leave the island. For anything besides quests, that is." He was almost certain that Tere could come and go as she pleased, but he was just a regular citizen. There was probably a law about that or something. "I think if we went, that I'd never come back though." He observed lazily, lounging backwards on his elbows.

Tere nodded a bit. She forgot that people weren't allowed to leave... Well she was to a point. She sighed softly and nodded and then smirked as he mentioned not coming back. "Oh? And why is that?" She asked, curious as to just what would keep him away, or what would bring him back. Tere shifted a little and leaned in against him a bit, looking out at the water.

"Because I'm tired of hiding on this island. I'm tired of being bored. I may be landlocked, but I do have a wanderers soul and the island has ceased to amuse me." No, even going home would be better than staying here forever. A little island in the Caribbean with the woman beside him? Now that could be an adventure. "A change of location some day is highly necessary."

Tere gave a little bit of a nod and then smiled to him and stood up. "Well, you may not be able to get off this island without a little help, help I may be able to give you eventually, if you want, but I do think I can at least help you see more adventure in this island if it has grown boring to you."
