Ethan nodded. She was completely right. He was getting caught up in the moment. Ethan never committed to anyone... but now, didn't he kind of have to? He shook his head, "Okay, okay. Let's not label it yet. I think we should just stay on the track we're on, enjoy ourselves. This is just another layer, right?" he said. No matter what though, he knew that they would be a part of each others lives forever, hopefully in a romantic sense.

"Right. We'll just give everything a little time to settle down and then discuss it again when we're not all out of it, ya know?" Settling back in to the couch, Jazlyn sighed and closed her eyes for a moment, not sure what to say now. Was she supposed to stay and talk about things or did she leave and give him some space? This was definitely her first, and hopefully only, time doing something like this. "Besides, we have other things to deal with right now. Like informing our siblings...my sister may kill us, fair warning. That is not a trip home that I want to make." Not to mention that she was going to have to ask Diana to remodel at least her room. The kid had to sleep somewhere, right?

He nodded once as she agreed, leaning back and looking up toward the ceiling, taking a deep breath. This was the most insane thing that had ever happened to him. Sure his mother thought he was a fictional character. Sure he was the son of the God of the Underworld. Sure he was living on an island full of people with strange powers. That was all well and good. But a baby? That was just plain insanity.

At the mention of siblings, Ethan sat up straight. "Oh lord," he said, turning to her with wide eyes. "That's it. We're locking ourselves in here for eighteen years."
