Being a captain had its time-consuming responsibilities, no doubt. Angharad was probably one of the busiest people in Concordia, as were most people with a substantially high rank in the Garrison. If she occupied with her work, then that meant that she wasn't being given enough duties as was befitting a captain, or she was deadbeat. Being the workaholic she was, Angharad was glad that neither of those cases were true. She was given her weight of the work, and she did it with zeal.
However, there were moments when she really had nothing to do. Her duties did not need her attention yet, so she was free to do whatever she wanted. Ang was never really sure what she wanted to do in those moments of leisure. She did enjoy sparring, but right now she couldn't find anyone who was willing to spar. Therefore, she resorted to spending time around the nature of Concordia to enjoy the fresh air and scenery. Walking into the woods always inspired her to climb a tree. Climbing trees (and walls with grab hooks) were important skills for soldiers, and Angharad generally enjoyed doing it. It was a tomboy thing to do and she enjoyed the view from up an elevated position.
Therefore, the girl had had climbed up a tree, branch by branch, and was finally sitting at the top on a thick sturdy branch. She crossed her legs and leaned her back against the trunk of the tree, enjoying the shade that was provided by the leaves above her. She felt sheltered here, and isolated from the rest of the world. Angharad wasn't a loner--she interacted with a lot of people as a captain. But who could fault her for wanting some moments to herself, once in a while?

Angharad was his sister. It wasn't a sin to stalk her, right? After all, they had a close sibling bond, and as her half-sibling, he had certain liberties to interact with her in ways that others weren't able to. And that was not an understatement, knowing the rock that his sister was. Well, that was in terms of intimacy, because Angharad was inclined to be deferential and respectful toward him as he was both her older brother and her Commander. She was a hard thing but she was willing to bend to his wishes. Owain already knew that even if she was as stubborn as an oxen with regular people, she was obedient to her authorities to a fault. But it wasn't just official commands that she listened to. He also had some ability to have some influence into her personal judgments, and that was saying something if you knew Angharad Gwyn.
A Commander was always busy, but surprisingly his workload for the day was light. Owain forced himself to sit in his office for hours on end, but truth be told, he was an outdoorsy person. Therefore, he didn't see the harm in leaving his office for awhile to take a walk outside. He could do the work later.
And so he had left the Garrison to take a stroll towards the Woods. Aside from the monsters, which Owain did like making a sport of killing in his free time, it was actually a relaxing place to be when there weren't any disturbances. He couldn't fault anyone else for coincidentally having the same intentions in their mind at the same time that he was heading there, but he found it even more significant that it should be his sister. It was somewhat amusing to see her taking a leisurely walk, too, as she was normally caught up in being a hardcore captain in her duties. That was the image that she liked to conjure for herself; he knew his sister viewed anything else as shows of weakness and lack of discipline. Although, she was most likely not adverse to relaxing a bit while off duty, though, and that was good; he didn't want her to be completely rigid.
He trailed after her from a distance, being careful not to get caught. Stealth was more for the children of Hermes and Mercury, but as a commander, he had to learn to practice a level of it for himself. Nonetheless, he followed her all the way to the tree and watched with even more amusement as she began to climb it with swift and deft moves. He waited until she was higher in the tree before climbing up after her; and mind you, he was equally as good at her in the art of tree-climbing.
He found her sitting on a branch that was nicely thick and strong. Smiling, Owain hefted himself up to the branch and sat down beside her; it was long enough for two people, no doubt. "Good afternoon, Angharad," he greeted her in Welsh, their native tongue. It was a coincidence that the two of the originated from Wales. But then again, Wales had produced fierce warriors throughout history. "How are you doing?"

Owain was a stealthy climber, Angharad didn't doubt. However, she was just as alert, and she heard someone climbing up the tree. Angharad sat straighter, and she stared warily down the tree from where she was sitting. She wondered who had the same idea in mind to climb up this tree. She wasn't exactly the type to happily welcome just about any face...therefore, Angharad couldn't help but feel a level of tension. But was she shy? No, Angharad was anything but shy, and she didn't mind company, either. In fact, she was somewhat curious about who she was going to meet. Unfortunately, she was also prepared to dislike the person, too. Angharad was quite a judgmental person and there were plenty of people who failed to get on her good side.
The good news was, it was Owain! She watched him agilely heft himself up onto the branch with her. This was a pleasant surprise. Her brother was a special person to her, and she couldn't help but smile faintly at the sight of him. He was her older brother and she was used to viewing him as just that; her older brother. She actually did have the urge to treat him intimately. Ever since he had become the Commander, though, she forced herself to treat with him respect, formality, and dignity, one that a Commander deserved from those under him. It would be immature of her as a captain to view him as a brother that a younger sister could look to for coddling.
Angharad couldn't wipe the smile off of her face, but she still gave him a firm nod of her head. "Good afternoon to you as well, Commander," she greeted him with a tone filled with reverence. "I am doing alright, thank you. But, what is more important, how are you faring, Commander? I do hope that you've been well these days." Part of her had a feeling that Owain would laugh off her formality, but that didn't stop her from speaking to him in a professional manner. Nothing did, to be honest.

It amused him to no ends how Angharad insisted upon behaving formally around him. She used to treat him a little more how a sister would treat her favorite sibling. Ever since he had been appointed as a commander, however, she took it upon herself to remedy that with distance and respect. Owain would very much prefer that Ang reverted back to her old ways of addressing him as her brother instead of as her commander, though. He just didn't see her in that light, and he never doubted for a moment that she would falter in her loyalty to him, or do anything to disrespect him. She didn't need to prove her sincerity by acting as if she were on duty all of the time.
The good thing, though, was that she was still smiling. That was a sign that she couldn't completely get rid of her familiarity with him. Owain chuckled. "Captain, you should know that it's Owain," he corrected her teasingly. "I was not born named Commander Rhodri Craddock. My father did not christen me that way." He knew that she would respond rather blankly to these jokes, though. They were basically lost on her. Angharad didn't really know how to banter for the fun of it--she only ever became sarcastic when she was not in the best mood, sad to say.
But he was inclined to take her queries about how he was doing more seriously, and he Owain nodded with a pleasant smile one his face. "I have indeed been well, thank you," Owain responded. "And how are the recruits getting along, Little Sister? I do not doubt that you put them into their places without an effort." Angharad was definitely a no-nonsense captain, and he trusted that she got them accustomed to the disciplined, strong ways of a soldier. Of course, Ang also had the issue of losing her temper and growing impatient quickly, and they had a talk about that some time ago before she was promoted as captain. She did what she could to be objective and employ the appropriate amount of strictness in the situations that she faced. While those who were under her knew not to mess with her, he trusted, too, that she was being fair to the best of her ability. After all, she was obedient to him, and if it was his wish that she keep her cool around the recruits, then his sister was usually inclined to comply. She also was honored to be captain, and he knew that she wanted to prove to him that she would make a good one as well. He didn't expect her to be a sympathetic captain, though, because that was asking too much of her. But as long as she knew how to treat the recruits in an appropriate manner, that was all he needed.
