The Atlantian's Aegean Retreat Teresia had this retreat built when she found the cove on Concordia that looks out onto the cove itself as well as a view of the Garrison and the climbing wall. It currently is the home of her and her crew, but is open to any child of Poseidon or Neptune. As Teresia herself is a lover of all things oceanic in nature as well as being of Greek decent, she has gone for a very open and breezy layout as well as accents in sea colors.
From the front it is easy to see why Teresia had it made with the back of it butted up against the forest. She, as someone who likes her privacy needed to feel a sense of protection that only the forest could provide for her. There is a small port that she had built that will allow The Siren's Song to dock, as well long road through the forest that leads back to the main part of Concordia.
The pool is always heated and ready for anyone to use, there are chaise chairs to lounge on as well as a small water fall to add the sound of flowing water. A sound often most relaxing to anyone who is born of the sea god. Tropical plants give it a sense of the Caribbean where Teresia has spent a good amount of time.
A lot of the hallways are actually covered breeze ways instead to allow for the sea air to flow freely in to the house. There are plenty of seats about as well to allow for people to sit down and just take in the view and the scent of the sea.
Teresia's room is as she would have liked it when she was living back in Greece, with large windows that open to the deck as well as flowy curtains and accents of light blue and dark woods. Just like her ship and just like her homes all over the world. Hints of Greece and the Caribbean.
Her bathroom, by far is the most opulent as it takes up the whole length of one side of her room and holds a smaller closet as well as a two person sink, a four-person shower and a jet tub that is big enough for two. She once again brings her love of sea colors into this, but instead of dark woods, she chose light bleached woods that remind her of the soft white sands of the Caribbean and the Hawaiian Islands, as well as her beloved Grecian coastlines.
Aquata's Room | |||
Aquata's Bathroom As Aquata is the eldest (thus far) of all of Poseidon's children, Teresia allowed her to have not only one of the biggest bedrooms, but the biggest bathroom as well.
Arista's Room | |||
Arista's Bathroom Arista's bathroom doesn't really seem to match with the decor of her room, but she loves the darker color woods as well as the gold accents. She is also a fan of the little secret garden that she that only she can get into.
Guest Room 1 A room befitting a male, should a brother ever appear.
This is the bathroom that is connected to the first guest room in the house. It's darker colors were meant more for a male of any of Poseidon or Neptune's Children.
Guest Room 2 Scarlet's Room
Guest Room 3 Coal's Room
Guest Room 4 Roselyn's Room
Guest Room 5 & 6 Calisto and Tritina's rooms are exact copies of each other because they love to play with the twin part of their life.
This is one of the more 'open' bathrooms that the house has, more open to the elements. However there is bamboo blinds that can be pulled down if anyone actually wants privacy.
This bathroom is used by the rest of the guest rooms that don't have their own en-suite bathrooms. It's simple, but still something that Teresia loves, a view of the ocean trough a large bay window, gossamer curtains that cover the door that open onto the beach itself. So this bathroom is pretty much the straight guest bathroom.
The living room of the retreat is not only large, but it too opens to the beach that is part of the cove where Teresia has had the retreat built. The windows hide inside pockets in the wall and are much like hanger doors. There is a lot of light and air going through this room 24/7
The kitchen is something that Teresia got Roselyn's opinion on. Not only does Roselyn do the cooking here while she is staying with her captain but Teresia wanted to make sure that the kitchen was easy to use by anyone that wanted to make themselves something to eat. It like every other room in the house has large windows allowing access to the outside.
Even the playroom, with its bar, pool table, and gaming consoles of all kinds tucked away in the entertainment center opens up to the outside, though this one is also opens up to a small garden that holds the alter to Poseidon and Neptune.
This is the only room in the house that doesn't have windows or even opens up to the outside. It's the Theater room. Yes, even salty pirates love to sit down and relax and watch their favorite movies.
