And here Owain was again, sitting in his office looking over correspondence, reports, and the usual paperwork of which he had to deal with. Normally, everything was normal, although there was one shortcoming: They were in a shortage of armor for new Garrison recruits, although that wasn't too big of a deal. Owain would have that sorted out and handled promptly. He was currently looking over that report when the door to his office opened, and his secretary escorted someone in. Owain glanced up from the paper to see who it was.

Tere hadn't had to wait long to see the head honcho, that was a good thing, but as she followed the secretary into the man's office, a small part of her felt like she was young again and once more in trouble. However, she wanted something, something that would add that power needed for her ship to out last a battle against any foe - but especially the titans... Should they return again.
She took a final step towards his desk and stopped. Today she was in a rather normal outfit, a billowy blue top that made her teal eyes pop, a pair of black skinny jeans and pumps, but she still wore some of her weapons and her captains coat over it. "Hello, I heard this was the place to go for permission to go on a quest." She said, her Grecian accent coming through as she spoke like a captain would - a captain with no superiors, at least when it came to the high seas.

Owain saw a woman who resembled a pirate enter. She had a non-conventional style--her hair was mahogany, she wore a pirate coat, and her eyes were a distinct teal color. Otherwise she was a generally pretty young lady. He'd never seen her before, though, but he could make a guess that she was a child of either Poseidon or Neptune because of her pirate style. It might be stereotypical to associate pirates with the sea all of the time, but oh well.
He smiled at her. "Good afternoon, Miss. As you most likely know, I'm Commander Owain Craddock. If I may guess you're a daughter of the sea god?" he asked. She mentioned that she heard that this office was where she went to gain permission to go on a quest. He nodded. "Indeed it is. What is your quest proposal?"

As he introduced himself, Tere gave a nod of her head "Commander" she said in a soft but all together confident voice as she moved closer to the desk as he commented on her father. A slight smile coming from her in that moment before she nodded "Aye, Poseidon to be exact..." She added this time her Grecian accent coming through.
As he asked about the quest, she took a seat and relaxed for a moment "Well I was thinking of my father... His exploits both good and bad... And one of his old flames came to mind. She could help us in the fight should the Egyptians and Titans return... Of course I don't think she will help us willingly... So we might need to force her hand... Or head." She smirked a little as she waited to see if he could do the math.

Owain was rather impressed by her Grecian accent. Not many demigods could pull that off, not even the Greek ones. But anyway, he listened intently to what she had to say. She spoke in a way that gave off hints, but Owain got the message. The head of Medusa had the ability to turn people into stone even after it was severed, and that could work to their advantage in the upcoming war against the Egyptians-Titans. Thy would have to handle it carefully when the head was in their possession, but still...it could be vital. In fact, it would be deadly if Camp Bast got to it first. Yes, that would to their disadvantage. It would be a difficult task retrieving it, but then again most demigod quests were more than difficult.
He continued to keep his eyes on her while thinking. Finally, he said, "I see. So you want to go on a quest to retrieve the head of Medusa for Concordia." He nodded. "That sounds like a worthwhile quest that would give us an advantage. Do you currently know where Medusa is located, or will finding that out be part of the quest as well?"

Tere gave a curt nod of her head as he spoke, a soft smile on her face and a bit of chaos in her eyes. She licked her lips a little and then spoke, "Well, in my travels before I came here, even before I decided to return to camp Half-Blood, I have heard rumors of where she could currently be holed up." Her eyes leveled on his in that moment and she smiled.
"I'm sure most of the quest will be on finding out which rumors are false and which are true. I know killing her won't be easy either, but since I am a daughter of her ex, I doubt she would come willingly to our aid." She, at the very least had her crew, perhaps she might ask someone else, or he would ask to take someone with her, she didn't know, but she wasn't going to bring harm to any of those on the island unless absolutely necessary.

Owain nodded as he took in her information. Finding Medusa, or anything that was missing and needed to be found, was never easy, but it was always a demigod's job to do what they could to track them down. The daughter of Poseidon before him sounded like she could easily do that task. The issue now, though, was in killing her. "I trust you'll know what to do in order to find Medusa. But you're right; killing her will be no easy task. I would definitely suggest taking members of the Garrison with you; along with a strategic child of Athena or Minerva, a stealthy child of Mercury or Hermes, and a child of Apollo to heal any wounds that may happen." He paused for a moment, before asking, "By the way, what's your name and your job on Concordia, Miss?" He had been allowing her to explain her reason for being here before asking for that information, but it was seemed that he would need to know now.

Tere nodded as he mentioned that she should take someone along with her... of course, she didn't know who was the child of who anymore. She had been away far too long, and aside from a few people that she had met and assumed their parentage, she didn't know many of the others children. That was when he brought up the fact that he didn't know her either. She smirked a little and then spoke "Teresia Sine, Captain of The Siren's Song. Though as for my job on Concordia, I did tell my sister that I would always be on the look out for Demis on my travels to bring back here if there be a need for them to find a safe place. I also am pretty good at getting things out of other countries that would otherwise be hard to get. My specialty is weapons." She said with a smile.

Owain was even more impressed when he heard what she did. A true daughter of the sea god, she was. "I must commend you for being so helpful, Miss Sine," he said with a smile. "You also sound like you can fit into the Garrison nicely." He grabbed his notepad and began to scribble down her name, parentage, summary of her job, and then a summary of the quest, all the while thinking of who would be fit to accompany Teresia on her quest. She was already a good fighter, so there didn't need to be a hoard of soldiers. Also, killing Medusa didn't really require much stealth as retrieving a well hidden and guarded object would need, so no child of Hermes or Mercury would be necessary. As for strategy, the only strategy needed was battle strategy, and children of the war gods were excellent at that, too. One healer would suffice.
He looked up again at her. "I believe that Colonel Finley Rockefellar, Captain Angharad Gwyn, and a son of Apollo, Nikolai Morozov, would be useful for your quest. Finley and Angharad are capable fighters and battle strategists, so they would be good help in taking up the sword against Medusa. Nikolai is not an official healer, but he has sufficient healing abilities and would be able to treat any wounds you and the others may acquire. That's all that is needed in this case. If this meets your approval, then I will contact them as soon as possible to get their responses. If all goes accordingly to plan, then we will set up an appointment for them to come in here to discuss the matter with us."

Tere sat there, completely at rest as he told her that she fit into the Garrison. She nodded a little and smiled softly but when he started to list off names of people, her brow arched for a moment. Tere was the leader of a clan of other demis. Granted, they all had her power, and that power was only its strongest on the sea, but she could see the need for a healer since she didn't currently have one on her ship. At least, not a real one. Roselyn - as cook - often was also the doctor as well. She licked her lips for a moment then spoke up.
"Finley I have seen fight up close and personal..." she said, bringing her hand to her ribs. They didn't hurt at all now, but still, he left a lasting impression. "The others I would appreciate meeting, so if they do agree then I do look forward to that. It would be useful to know a good doctor for once, my girl Roselyn is a great cook, but her healing leaves something to be desired sometimes." She said with a soft laugh.

Owain laughed slightly at the mention of her cook, Roselyn. "At least you'll have someone to prepare good meals along the journey. I daresay that would make it easier," he quipped. "But it's good to know that you've been acquainted with Finley. He's a nice one. I'm sure the other two will be to your liking, too." Actually, Angharad might be viewed as too boring and Nikolai a bit...sarcastic, but he was sure they would be fine. "I'll have to contact them first, and I'll then contact you as soon as I get your responses. You can be elsewhere while you wait. If you could kindly tell me your phone number so I can reach you?"
((So in my next post I'll say that he contacted them and that they are summoned into the office along with Tere some moments later.))

((Okies))
She laughed softly and nodded "Well, it depends on what Rose decided to make that night. Some of her things... they taste great going down, but later you end up regretting eating things so spicy." She said with a soft laugh before adding on "And Fin's got a hell of a kick to him..." She said, subconsciously rubbing her side again "Thankfully his kick hurt us both and not just me." She said with another light laugh.
"As for how to contact me... I did just have a house built in that little cove just hidden in the woods, or rather, between the cove and the woods. I haven't got a phone number though yet, so I think it's probably best that I stick close to here for a bit." She said softly, she hadn't even known that she could get a phone. Being at sea as much as she was, it was like 'phone? what phone?' "That should make contacting me a little easier... right?" She asked, unsure if he would agree to that or not.
