Tere sat back with her back against the wall and lifted what used to be a full bottle of rum to her lips. She felt like she was adrift and she hated it. She hated being without her baby. All she wanted to do was dive overboard and swim home so she could be back with it. And then of course, there was her brother who was pretty much ignoring her. She rolled her eyes as the girl said they needed more supplies. Of course they needed more supplies, this little dingy could fit in the hold space for the Song. She downed what was left of the rum and then looked into the bottle. "Why is the rum always gone?" She said to herself then stood up.
"I will, but only because I need more rum." She said, marching off the ship and walked past the child mumbling to herself "Wouldn't 'need supplies' if we had taken the Siren's Song, we wouldn't even be a third of the way through that stores."

Jason would scribble a message back.
I spoke with him...your father is in Cuba. He doesn't quite know where, exactly but...he thinks he was taken by someone His boat still rests on the shore.
He would hand it back to her apologetically- the news was good but...also probably hard to hear.
During the trip he had kept mostly to himself, training on deck with push ups, sit ups and staff strikes. He slept there to spite Tere, not wanting to take the bed- he too loved the light, and had been on boats for years and years. He was used to sailing, and thoroughly enjoyed the open sea even on a smaller ship than the Siren. He would watch the other girl approach, his cheer at finally having a moment alone with Accalia dampened by the singsongy girl who was, apparently, her best friend. He would give an easy smile before nodding.
Yeah...go ahead, We'll wait here.

Accalia grinned, even though her heart stopped for a moment, when Quinn said she could hear the note passing. Jason passed back his response, but before Accalia could read it Quinn was standing beside her, linking with her arm. Accalia shoved the note, unread, into her pocket and turned back to the group as everyone announced their plans. Tere was already up ahead of them, it seemed, talking about rum. "Okay, it seems the ladies are village bound. Jason," she turned to face him with a nervous smile, "be careful, okay? We'll be back in... twenty minutes," she guessed and she and Quinn walked toward the village together.
Once there, Tere was probably off trying to locate rum and Quinn and Accalia were gathering food and a few other things. "So, it seems our crew is... colorful," Accalia commented.

Jason would nod before leaning in close- closer than most friends would. But he would whisper in her ear "Be Careful" before letting her go. He would start back toward the ship and begin cleaning it up.

Quinn made a face that obviously showed displeasure. She looked at Lia, "You say colorful, I say completely ridiculous." She put down whatever it was that she was looking at and turned so her whole body face Accalia's, "Seriously, Lia. That...woman? What the heck is her deal? She has a love affair with her ship, or something." Rolling her eyes, Quinn let out a heavy breathe, "Just know I love you enough to suffer through it." She reached forward and pulled Lia into a tight hug.

Finding rum was never a hard task for the seasoned pirate princess. Tere could always sniff it out like a blood hound, so she had managed to find some and return to the two other girls in record time. However, instead of actually joining them, she lingered behind them, silently watching them, listening to them as they spoke ill about her. Or rather, one tried to be 'gentle' with her barb, the other was less so. She arched her brow and gripped the handle of her sword. It would be quite easy to run the little tramp through. Instead, she just listened, her eyes shifting between the two girls and the merchandise she was quietly stowing away in one of her little bags.
For a moment she was tempted to come up on the girl, tell her just what her deal was. But instead, she decided to just turn, to ignore the urge to kill the little brat. She started back for the dingy that other girl called a ship. What oh what did her brother see in that little pipsqueak. She wasn't even a real woman if you asked her. She continued with her thoughts all the way back to the deck, pulling the rum out of the bag, she moved to an area of the deck and glanced up at her brother. "I just don't see it." She said and then decided to lose herself once more into the drink.

Accalia frowned, nodding at Quinns words. Quinn pulled her into a hug and Accalia squeezed back, "to be honest, I asked Jason to bring someone else along. I didn't know this person had a ship of their own... I mean, I feel really bad for saying no," she pulled out of the hug and bit her lip, glancing around, trying to catch sight of Tere. When she did, the woman was walking back to the ship with a bottle of rum in hand. "But I really just wanted to... I don't know. This is way too personal for a ship full of people I don't know."
She gave a small shrug, "I'm really glad you're here. I mean... I know I maybe shouldn't have asked a guy I just met to go on a quest with me but... I dunno. I trust him. Which is weir-" Accalia stopped, eyes widening. She took Quinns hand and started to move as something neared the boat...

Cyclops Tasty little Demi-Gods, yum yum! And what a pretty boat! This is what the ten foot cyclops thought as he approached the ship Everest, smelling two tasty Poseidon kids aboard. What fun it would be to eat them! As he reached the boat, he grabbed onto the side and tilted it toward him... (it's midnight. don't judge me XD lets fight a monster!)

Jason's eyes turned upward, catching sight of the monster as he strolled toward them. His eyes widened in fear for a moment before he bent, grabbing the front of Tere's clothing and hurling her off into the sea as the monster picked up the boat he was in. He jumped left, his right leg hitting the monsters bicep and causing him to flip and hit the ground harshly. Fear bled through his body like a wave as he looked up, a little blurry-eyed, at the monster.
He wanted to shout for help but....he lost his voice in the terror. He had fought monsters before but...the suddeness caught him off guard and made him afraid. He'd never felt this kind of fear before, coming so close to death.

It definitely caught Quinn's attention that Accalia had stopped speaking. But what drew her attention back to the ship was the strange 'splash' that sounded like something going overboard. Instead of stopping her her tracks, Quinn pulled a small dagger out of her pocket and unsheathed it. Even if she didn't like someone, she wouldn't let them fight that thing alone. She stepped in front of Lia, wanting to protect her friend more than anything else. The knife wasn't much, but it was about ten inches of sharp, glittering, steel and would have to do, "Lia, we have to get that thing away from the Everest." The reporter said in a matter of fact voice that was tight and reflected her anxiety in the situation.

Tere had spotted the Cyclopes coming at them and had pulled one of her guns, firing it at the monster. But before she could make a move on it, Jason was grabbing her and throwing her from the ship. WHAT THE ****!!!!!! She thought as she hit the water. She was going to kill her brother and gut him like a fish once they were done with this monster. Tere swam quickly, going under the boats and pier before surfacing under the wood planks of the dock.
Looking up, she pulled her cutlass and rammed it up hard between the planks towards the Cyclopes' foot before once more swimming to the other side of the dock so she could come up behind the monster. Using the ladder of another boat in berth, she climbed silently out of the water, her eyes blazing as she pulled her rapier and jumped at the monster.

Accalia unfroze as Quinn stepped in front of her protectively. "Let's go," she said, pulling her bow out it's sling and preparing a few arrows. She moved slowly toward the ship, wanting to be able to sneak attack the monster. She lifted her bow, aiming for it, but she froze. What if she hit Jason? Or Tere? She knew she was a good aim, but the boat was rocking now and the aim was unsure.
When she heard a gunshot, she snapped out of it, firing three arrows at once.

CYCLOPS The puny little male Demi-God tried to kick him but just went flying backward, so silly! The Cyclops laughed and rocked the boat a little more, trying to climb in but struggling because he was so heavy. Before he knew it, gunshots were firing at him and hitting his left shoulder. He roared in pain, but this gave him enough drive to tip the boat even closer, right before a sword went into his foot and two arrows lodged into his leg, another shooting past him. He growled and jumped into the boat, finally, not noticing the woman jumping behind him. She slashed him with his sword, but he spun around aiming a blow at her face while his foot tried to stomp down on the boy. Where had those arrows come from!?

Quinn sprinted forward and jumped at the cyclops, brandishing her dagger. She didn't realize that she had jumped between the monster and Tere until the beast swung around and hit her with some sort of club Quinn hadn't seen before. She hit the docks with a loud thud and rolled across the ground before hitting a stack of crates and falling unconscious with the warm trickle of blood blurring her vision.

Jason rolled away as the monster stomped and, as he touched the sea, felt the surge of strength from it. His eyes went wide, and he looked around- Quinn was out, and everyone else here knew what he was. The only one he was worried about was the girl was was taken down. Though worried for her, his mind was now blind with what he had to do. His chest puffed, and he brought up a large hand of the ocean, hurling it forward to bitchslap the monster with enough force to send it flying. He intended that, when/if the water hand hit, it would create spikes to impale it on.
If it hit or not, Jason would pale and stumble forward- he had not practiced that much with the power- not in enough time before they left, and the huge draw caused him to crumble to his hands and knees. He'd take deep breaths, knuckles white as he tried to turn his face up to see what happened to the cyclops before he, too, would collapse into the sand. He wouldn't passout but he felt his vision blurring.
He needed to just....lay there and rest.
OOC: Jason can't use his power for at least three posts, and can't use it large-scale again for 10.
