At The Wedding Tent: Battle Thread

Jason, having seen the girl blown away, was no longer focusing on them- as the lady was washed out to sea he noticed trees ripping through a tent and messing people up bad. His eyes focused on Accalia, who was...back...from washington!? He grinned. He had the most intense desire for hidden forest makeouts. Instead, his eyes turned to horror as a blade was embedded in her leg. He turned to the thrower, extending a hand and pulling water from the sea. A whip of it would lash around the guys neck as he would ripped into the water to drown with his friend. He would rush to Accalia's side.

"Shit shit....you...you okay!?"

His suit was torn, his tie long gone. He was covered in blood but...he had to make sure she was alright. A knife in the leg...? That...could not feel good. Far worse than his slashed back, he could bet on that.

Tere continued to work her way through the archers she had knocked out, giving them something they really didn't deserve - a quick death with her blade through their necks - then she looked up just in time to see all sorts of chaos going on around her sister. Masin, Jason, and Dylan were surrounding her and the ones holding her sister hostage. Aquata and Arista ran up to join as well, but they were more concerned with protecting the group from any other evil doers joining to save their brethren.

Tere turned just in time to see someone coming at her and she stepped in and blocked the people. With every one of her family protecting her sister, she knew that Ember was safe. Plus Ember had all sorts of weapons at her beck and call now with the rain pouring down in sheets. Lighting and thunder continued to sing in the sky, the rest of the girls - Tere included - continued to sing, to bring the storm to a fever pitch. Tere drove a sword she had picked up and was using to defend herself up, using her left hand to plunge another sword through the Enemy's chest.

Dante wasn't far away from the wedding he had been there for the ceremony and paid his due respects but parties were not his thing and anyway he decided to walk a perimeter around the wedding. With so many important officials at the wedding it would just be there luck that an attack would happen. He heard the music start and then muffled screams, he grabbed his bow and arrows and began running at full speed towards the tent, before he got there he was knocked to the ground as someone tackled him, looking up he saw the sword and shield of a titan solider rolling to his side he kicked out his enemies feet and took an arrow stabbing him in the neck and seeing the life leave him.

He took the shield and sword from the dead enemy and ran into the raging battle he saw many of his fellow demigods fighting and beating back the enemy, it was then he heard the screams of Masin and he searched the battleground for her, as he searched he notched and let loose several arrows they hit their targets and enemies fell. Finally he caught sight of Masin and the Chancellor and the closing threat, he ran head long in to battle using the stolen sword, he cut down many titans but he didn't avoid his own wounds by the time he was close enough to call out he was covered in blood his own and the enemies, no major injuries as of yet. He called out "Masin! Behind you!" before he notched another arrow and let it fly, it hit its mark the left eye of an enemy behind Masin. There were still two more enemies surrounding Masin and so he ran and tackled one to the ground. "Are you alright? Is the Chancellor alright?" He asked before he felt a fist connect with his face.

Despite his new found courage, Dylan found himself backing away from the Hydrokinetic and her electric friend. Electrocution did not sound like a chivalrous way to die. From behind them, he heard the rustling of another body exiting the tent. A younger boy, no older than his students would have been, charged towards them with the women's backs turned. Despite the brief pang in his heart at the realization he would most likely kill a boy he should have been teaching instead, Dylan raised the sword, cutting the boy off and placing himself between the soldier and the others.Thank the Gods for gym class. He thought to himself, parrying a blow.

Accalia looked down and gasped at the huge knife in her leg. Before she could anything, however, Jason was suddenly at her side. She reached over and clasped onto his arm, looking up at the torn suit until she made eye contact. "Holy Hades," she said, a smile growing on her face, "You look good!" She turned back to the knife in her leg, it was about twelve inches long and half of those inches were in her thigh. "I'm fine, fine." She reached down with her free hand, ripping the knife out of her leg without even a scream. Soon, vines were wrapping around her leg to stop the bleeding. "Okay," she looked back up at Jason, a fire in her eyes, "Let's do this," she stood up straight, releasing his arm to pull back on her bow all while allowing the plants around her to attack her foes.

Malia, Enemy for @kkram265

Malia was suddenly tackled to the ground, but she was incredibly strong and quite a brute, so she easily rolled over him and let her fist collide with his face. She tried to kick him off, but he had her pinned. Instead, she used her God given ability to make the lights in the tent start to flicker until the blacked out.

Masin realized someone had called her and looked around until her eyes fell on Dante. "We're oka-watch out!" Masin called out as an enemy clocked Dante right in the face. Masin turned toward the other enemy, the one still standing and thrust a hand out, wrapping her hand around his neck. "Lights out," she growled as she fired his brains.

She dropped the burnt body of her enemy. All of this lighting use was making her nauseous. Masin wasn't a fighter, she was a politician, she wasn't used to all this use of her ability. She stumbled on the spot a little bit before the lights in the tent suddenly flickered out. She hoped that wasn't her fault. It took Masin a moment for her eyes to adjust, and as soon as they did she lifted a foot, dropping it firmly on the hand of the person whom Dante was tackling.

When the lights flickered out he was trying to get used to the lack of light, Masin it would appear adjusted quicker. When her high heel entered the girls skull she was dead in an instant, standing he said "Thanks for that, are you alright, where is the Chancellor?" He saw a man approach swinging a sword towards Maison's back and quickly pulled her to the ground while he thrust his sword into the enemies chest. Dante groaned in pain when he saw the man's sword had slid across his side and blood oozing out of the wound. Standing he pulled Masin to her feet, "You need to get out of here and find the Chancellor. Have you seen Braxton or Owain? I need to link up with them, and find out where they need me," his hand on his side to slow the bleed a bit.

The large wave had taken it's toll on Ember. She feel to her knees, gripping her stomach and coughing. Her energy was gone and the power it had taken to summon that wave had been more than she was anticipating. The water left in the sand started to trickle it's way off the ground and up her arm helping her to stand up again and revitalize her body for at least long enough to help herself, and her unborn children, to safety, "Masin. The Garrison. Bunker." Her words were broken and hard to come by. She reached out for her husband, hoping her was nearby, "Dylan?"

Ashton had been standing just inside the tent when the scum came, ripping through the canvas and sending people scattering. He had been swept outside in the sea of bodies, losing sight of Tere almost instantly. Silently thanking the Gods that his time in the Garrison was well spent, he quickly disarmed an Egyptian archer, taking his bow and quiver before running to the other side of the tent, hoping to catch sight of her. Several long minutes later and Tere was still nowhere to be found, though he could hear her from where he stood, firing into the oncoming crowd.

Jason would nod. He never knew she had this kind of strength. He was so used to the shy and innocent woman he was growing close to. Now, to have her fighting like this....it showed a whole new side of her. The side that could set aside everything and fight for those she loves. He respected and admired that strength. He would turn and take off at a jog for the small grouping in front of them. He flicked two bullets of water up to smash into their ribs as he attacked, his stomach also turning a little from power use. He would, however, still have strength of arm and would slash the face of the first person near him before kicking a second on his left.

A cut was opened under his eye, paper thin but bloody, as one of the enemies was chucking throwing stars, like the one from earlier that had been fighting Tere. He ran forward and slid low, kicking the front of their kneecap before stabbing upward, slashing his midsection. The remaining two would turn to follow him, raising the stakes.

Swallowing the bile rising in his mouth, Dylan did what he had to and finally made a killing blow to the younger man, turning away as soon as it was finished. No matter how many times he and the children had practiced, he had never expected it to go that way. The thought of his students and where they were almost brought him to his knees until he heard Ember Lynn speak. "I'm here." He managed to say in a steady voice, wrapping his free arm around her waist before pulling her in the vague direction of the Garrison.

Tere and the rest of her crew kept with their singing as they kept fighting. Years at sea had given them prep in that way, they were able to fight and keep their song going at the same time. As the song rose and fell, thunder rumbled louder, lightning sheeted over them, giving people a flash of light to spot things with to the point that it was as if they were fighting under a strobe light. The winds picked up and she knew that eventually the winds would carry away the tent, but for now the tent seemed to hold on against the gale force winds.

Tere stepped near one of the openings, her eyes taking in the sight of the storm and in a flash of lightning, she saw Ashton, relatively safe. As she let out a breath, a man tacked her to the ground and vines began to climb around her limbs, holding her down in the sand.

The brief flash of light had allowed him to see Tere, causing him to relax just slightly. He had known she could take care of herself, but he also knew that these people were beyond ruthless. Before he could cross the ground between them, he saw another Chlorokinetic begin working on her, pinning her down beneath the vines. Though Ashton couldn't remove them from this distance, or kill them at all, there was one thing he knew how to do. With another arrow in place, he took aim towards the man who was still on top of Tere, releasing it to hear the satisfying thud of a well placed hit. As soon as the man was down, Ashton took off in Tere's direction, ripping the vines off of her body as quickly as he could.

Masin placed a hand on his arm as he stood, "I'm... not okay. I can't stay standing much longer," she gestured behind her where Ember and Dylan stood, "She's there. Zane went to the Garrison for help. I'm sure they'l be here any minute..." she turned back to Em and Dylan, "I'm getting her to the bunker you... you take care," she tightened her grip on his arm briefly before turning away from him, connecting with Ember and Dylan as the three of them left the tent, headed for bunker where they could hide Ember and regroup. Masin felt terrible about abandoning the battle, especially where they were so unprepared. But she was worthless after all that electricity use...
