A CHARGE: THE PHOENIX BRIGADE: BATTLE THREAD: OPEN

"CHAARRRGGGE!"

The insanity that was Coris group from the Phoenix Brigade was really a force to be reckoned with. The little band of Phoenix's charged forward at the oncoming enemy, the group that had passed by the wedding and slipped into the mainland. She charged forward, forming her classic choice of ice sword in her hands and swinging a hard swing at the enemy before her.

Aimery had been a little late in preparing to attend the wedding.  He wasn't in a rush, because it wasn't all that important to him.  He was a little biased and preferred Masin over Ember, but he decided to be courteous and come with a nice gift nonetheless.

However, the moment he stepped out the House of Hades, he saw a group of Garrison members--the Phoenix Brigade--attacking a hoard of soldiers.  Aimery immediately remembered them.  The Egyptians and Titans who had attacked five years ago and killed his brother.  Without hesitating, he immediately dropped the gift he was holding and turned invisible.  Everything from his head to toe to his clothing was out of sight.  There was his wristwatch made of gold, his claiming gift, which was turned into sword.  It was a weapon from the Underworld which induced fear and depression to whoever got hit by it.

He quickly ran toward fighting people and trhust the blade of his sword at the nearest opponent, aiming straight into his abdomen.  He couldn't see Aimery or the weapon, which was why Aimery was standing front of him with such ease.

TITAN #1, @coriander's Opponent, EDWARD

Edward brought up his shield in time when a girl with a sword made of ice swung it in his direction.  Her blow was strong and it made him stagger back; however, once he regained his footing, he lowered his shield to get a better look at her and swung his sword in an arch, aiming at her arm. 

So, someone wanted to come out to play, did they?

Cori's first blow to Edward (Cullen) was blocked by his shield, however she can't him to stagger back. As he started swinging around to aim for her arm, Cori laughed out loud and blocked his swing, reforming her ice sword to wrap around his sword, causing her to be able to rip the sword out of his grip, tossing it behind her. "Your move," she challenge.

She did notice, however, that behind him it seemed there were soldiers falling of their own accord... which was... incredibly weird...

TITAN #2, @coriander's Opponent, BELLA

Bella with the big battle axe noticed that her boyfriend Edward was unarmed, for that Phoenix Brigade girl managed to toss his sword from his grip.  Bella immediately ran toward them, screaming out a battle cry.  "DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH MY BOYFRIEND!" she screamed as she basically butted Edward out of the way and raised her battleaxe at the girl, bringing it down upon her.

Invisible lord of the rings Aimery had managed to run his sword straight into his first opponent's stomach.  He was swiftly moving from enemy to enemy, who didn't see him at all.  Therefore, he managed to make lethal blows toward them without them suspecting a thing, and thus they went down quick.  Finally, he noticed that there was a girl with a battleaxe raised at a Phoenix Brigade soldier, and Aimery quickly headed her way.  He struck his sword right through the girl's back.

Cori was turning with wide eyes at the axe coming down on her when suddenly the girl stopped, slumping forward. "Holy-" Cori looked around frantically for her invisible savior. "Hey, watched my back for a sec!" she called out before turning back to Edward and kicking him square in the chest. She jumped on top of him, forming an ice knife in her hand and cutting it into his arm. As he started to scream, she jammed a few fingers into the wound, slowly turning his blood to ice. "How many of you are there? How did you find us?" she growled.

TITAN #1, @coriander's Victim Opponent, EDWARD

"NO! BELLA! MY LOVE! NO!" Edward screamed when his girlfriend had been struck down by some invisible force. He began to sob, but he wanted to pass out when the girl he had been fighting knocked him down and began to torture him. He screamed uncontrollably, his body shaking as he gasped heavily. "Th-there are...I d-d-don't kn-know...a-all o-o-of us.  I-I-I d-d-d-on't..." He couldn't speak any longer.  It hurt so bad.  "Kn-know..."

Cori rolled her eyes at his pathetic answer. She knew when torture was pointless, and she wasn't ruthless. She pulled her fingers away from him, standing to kick him in the fact, knocking him out but not killing him. "Okay invisible buddy. Show yourself now," she said, clearly annoyed with the Edward guy on the ground.

Aimery's eyes widened when he realized the girl he had helped was Coriander, the daughter of Khione.  Well, still as beautiful as ever.  While she was being a bully to Edward, Aimery was invisibly fending off any of the enemy soldiers who tried to make an attack upon her.  There had been four in total, and all of them were laying on the ground at his feet.  Dead or unconscious, he didn't care.

He turned around when the girl was finally done dealing with the guy.  She told him to show himself, and Aimery decided it wouldn't hurt to reveal himself for just a quick moment.  Most of the enemy were being cleared off quickly, anyway.  He slowly turned himself visible again, first his feet and them abdomen and then his head appearing normally again.  He glanced at the Edward dude with a quizzical look when he heard the pathetic bloke muttering something about being able to eternally be a vampire with his beloved Bella now before fainting.

He turned his attention upon Cori now and smiled faintly at her.  "Remember me?"  He glanced at Edward again.  "I must say, Coriander, you're a force to be reckoned with--is that ice from within his skin?" His eyes widened.  Even that was rather grotesque to him.  He had been too occupied to witness her tuning the guy's blood into ice. 

Cori raised an impressed eyebrow at Aimery showed himself, then her lips slowly formed into a smile. Cor looked down at Edward as Aimery commented on the ice and she shrugged. "I froze his blood. Pretty intense torture tactic. Didn't do much good though!" she whipped around to Aimery and suddenly firmly planted an ice cold kiss on his cheek, "Thanks for having my back there, Aimery. Neat trick, by the way!" and then she was rushing back into the fray, forming another fresh ice sword as she ran.
