Finley didn't attend the wedding. He would send his congratulations at a later time. He was in the Garrison headquarters on duty when Zane suddenly burst in, explaining that an attack was happening at the wedding. He set the alarm and quickly, with Zane at his side, gathered the brigade together and prepared for battle, some carrying extra weapons to take to those in the wedding tent. The goal, he explained, was to get to the tent. Other garrison teams would handle the mainland and inland while Fins team would get to the wedding, saving those who didn't have their weapons on them
Before they could quite reach the tent, however, they were attacked by an @theenemy brigade. As Fin charged, he found himself worry for a moment about were Laine was during all this...

Shane had heard the alarm raised back at the Garrison, gathering his people before awaiting orders from command. When they didn't come, he took the brigade out. Right as they left, he saw Colonel Rockefeller and the rest of Pheonix charging towards the beach. Shouting out the commands to follow, he and the rest took off in the same direction, falling in alongside the Colonel.
"Where's Colonel Wyatt?" He screamed over the clang of metal, concerned for his friend and commanding officer. Not to mention, where was the Commander? Charging towards an opponent, he made contact with a rather large Egyptian soldier. The ensuing scuffle was tough, earning him a cracked rib, but after what seemed like an eternity he finally managed to sink his blade into the other man.

Angharad was part of Colonel Rockefeller's Phoenix Brigade team heading toward the tent. She had gathered the troops under her command, all of them well-trained, fierce, courageous, strong, and no-nonsense. They were dressed in armor and had proper weapons and shields. Right now she was in the thick of fighting, as they had been waylaid by an enemy brigade. Angharad was only focused upon her main task that she was trained and born for: fighting in a war. Nothing else mattered. She was one-hundred percent concentrated on taking down her enemies and reading their movements before they could even touch her. Her shield and sword were just extensions of her body. She may not have a fancy power, but she was given the power of skillful use of weapons and the manipulation of them. She was deadly, dangerous, and lethal, what with years of training and her skill inherited by Bellona and the military ambition that enabled her to be part of the first cohort. She had already taken down a few people and was dealing with more, two at a time. War was bad, but...Angharad couldn't help but relish this feeling. Ah, how nice and invigorating it felt! At last, real warfare! She was totally hungry to crack some skulls.

When Shane approached him, Finley briefly patted him on the back in gratitude, "I think I saw Wyatt with Captain Thorn somewhere. The Commander is at the Wedding. Our mission is to get extra weapons to the people there," he nodded before stepping away from Shane, tackling his own group of enemies along with Phoenix and Minotaur alike. He turned just in time to dodge a swing for his neck by an enemy soldier, causing him to swing his own sword at the Titans ribs. The titan dodged, however, bringing a sword down to graze Finleys arm. Finley then kicked her square in the chest and she went flying back, right into the sword of another Garrison Member. "CAPTAIN GWYN, GET YOUR TEAM TO THE BEACH," he called out to Ang as she passed by him with her own skillful fighting.

Owain had been at the wedding with Espn has his date, but at the first signs of enemies, he acted fast. As the Commander, he couldn't just tarry at the wedding tent not knowing what to do. First, he got Espn safely to the bunker in the garrison, guarded by several able soldiers to keep her and anyone else in there safe. He then put on his own armor, gathered his troops, and had soldiers assigned to bring a supply of weapons along with them to those at the tent. He then set out to go fight in the mainland, as he already knew that Colonel Rockefellar, who had gone out before him, was going to take care of the beach.
But while on the way there, Owain's team came across Finley's, who had been in a scuffle with the enemy brigade. However, that was mostly qunehced and they were preparing to move to the beach. Owain caught sight of his sister Angharad, who seemed to be having fun. He ordered the soldiers with the supply of weapons to follow Colonel Rockefellar. He spotted Captain Shane Walker looking lost and strode over to him. "Captain Walker, you and your brigade will follow me. We will fight the enemy in the mainland," he told him before commanding his troops to follow him.

Shane nodded, relieved to have someone in command. It wasn't that he couldn't lead, it's that he wasn't supposed to. Should he be with the guys? Yes. Every step of the way. Actually calling the shots just wasn't his thing, or he'd work harder towards a promotion.
Falling in to step behind the Commander, Shane motioned for his people to do the same, which most already were. They weren't stupid. Scared, but not stupid. The mainland was already overrun from where Shane was standing, but the area here...well, Colonel Rockefeller and Captain Gwyn appeared to be holding their own just fine.

Ang was so busy having the time of her life fighting that she didn't notice that her brother had passed by. However, what she did pay attention to was Colonel Rockefellar's command to her to bring her troops to the beach. Now that she thought about it, she was mauling the last person willing to fight alive and they had done their business here. She kicked him in the groin one last time before commanding her Phoenix Brigade soldiers to fall in after the Colonel toward the wedding tent at the beach. The weapons needed to get there, fast. With that, she and her troops quickly headed with all haste to their designation.

Fin and his team were injured, of course, as was Ang and hers he was sure, but they eventually made it too the beach and started helping the people in the tent. Most who were weaponless were dead, but many had hidden and the Phoenix Brigade were helping to evacuate. Finley saw as Chancellor Hadley, Masin and Dylan got away safely and set a few soldiers to accompany them to the bunker. At one point, he and Ang met an enemy and took him down together. "Captain Gwyn, any idea what their numbers are?"

Being fond of war came with a price. It meant that you had to endure injuries and hurts with sheer strength and will. Ang was scratched, burned, bruised...it would feel nice to just lay back and collapse, but being a battle-seasoned soldier and daughter of the war goddess enabled her to continue fighting without bending. Once they got to the beach, Ang quickly oversaw that weapons were distributed before going back to the fighting. She fought as she had on the mainland. Scenery wasn't any different to her, really. There was a point in which she and the Colonel had struck down an enemy together. "I'd say around three thousand," she replied; she wasn't any mathematician, but warfare had taught her to estimate the number of troops on the enemy side. She continued to fight those who charged at her.
