THE SITE RULES

For your character to be accepted, you must post once PER CHARACTER stating that you have read the following rules.

THE APPLICATION RULES	an application must be filled out and accepted before you post in character anywhere. your username must be all caps FIRST MIDDLE LAST before you are accepted by a staff member. no character may have more than one power, and those are subject to admin approval. please wait two days before pming a staff member about your application, if you are waiting to be approved. no one can be over powered, so don't feel bad if your power has to be altered we speak English, not 1337, or any other chatty language. keep that in mind every character must have the 200x200 avatar before they are accepted. if you need help acquiring this image, please contact a staff member. we are always happy to help! faceclaims, who plays who claims, and godly parent claims are required to pass an activity check. there are no perfect characters. make sure you have a well-rounded character with strengths AND flaws. no one is always be sad ALL THE TIME and no one is all-powerful. We do not have a character creation limit, other than that each player may only have THREE characters that are children of the big 3 (Zeus/Jupiter, Hades/Pluto, or Poseidon/Neptune). This is also subject to any bans that might be listed in the character creation section.
GENERAL SITE RULES	have fun! this isn't a job, so don't let it become all consuming. keep it fun for everyone! keep the site positive! like the above rule, we want to keep things fun for everyone. if you have a suggestion or a complaint, please PM RYNSTONE or CAILA ★   so that we can discuss it! be appropriate. we have young users and we do adhere to the proboards terms of service. that means fade to black and take it to pms people. be kind to the other members. no flamming will be tolerated. if you are being harassed by another member in the cbox or the pm's please notify an admin or mod immediately. don't spam boards. only advertise in the designated areas. if your image stretches the board or doesn't fit in the spot it belongs, the staff can remove them without warning.
ROLEPLAYING RULES	we do not have a word count, but please no one liners. that's no fun and we will put a word count into play if we see this happening a lot. we get that you can't always be perfect, but spell check is your friend. one character per account. yes, even for twins. there is NO GODMODDING. seriously. everyone hates that. just control your own character and no one else's. Godmodding applies to the gods themselves as well. Do not attempt to NPC a god as it is strictly against the rules without staff permission. regarding killing a character in battle, there must be written consent somewhere for this to be accepted by staff. we don't want anyone to back out after a character has been killed and have it cause a problem later. just get pm approval from the other player for the sake of covering your own ass later. yes, characters CAN DIE. if you continuously put them in dangerous situations, they are more likely to die. be careful. if a staff member sees a thread that is getting ridiculously long because characters keep miraculously dodging fatal blows, we will intervene.
