The ceremony had been long, and honestly boring. Sure, Taze liked a good reason to party as well as the next guy, but sitting through two hours of gibberish about true love and something about tidal waves didn't catch or hold Taze's attention at all. Actually, if put his off from the whole wedding idea at all. He was now leaning back in a chair, letting it balance on the back two legs, as he sucked down whatever kind of liquor he could entice out of the bartender. Apparently, the open bar wasn't supposed to start until the music was playing. He thought that was dumb, but it wasn't his wedding, "Thank gods." He said, in response to his own thoughts. He was much louder than he had meant to be, not realizing that the cute girl behind the bar was making those whiskey sours with a little more whiskey than sour. Five drinks in and his words started to slur a little.@coriander and open

Cori hadn't actually attended the wedding ceremony. She had been on duty at the Garrison and missed it, which was okay with her. She, and some other members of Phoenix, got dressed up and made there way to the reception. Cori entered the tent laughing and smiling, glad to have a bit of a break. She had to go back to the Garrison before the evening was over, however. She glanced over at the bar, but before she could reach it she caught sight of Taze, looking... well, he was drunk.
She smirked, walking over to him and leaning against the wall beside him. "Hey there hot stuff, rough day?"

He'd be lying if he said he wasn't pleased to see Cori. As much as the idea of monogamy scared him shitless, Cori always brought out that side of him. She was fun to flirt with, "Actually, Princess, quite the opposite." He leaned across the table to be a little closer to her, "Especially now." He grinned what he thought was a dashing grin, but what turned out to be kind of dopey because of the alcohol.

She wasn't surprised that he used the 'Princess' thing on her again. It was starting to grow on her, not that she'd ever say that out loud. She laughed out loud as he tried to give a smolder and just ending up looking a bit goofy. She reached forward and placed a hand on his arm, ignoring the electric stir in her stomach at the touch. "You look awful. Seriously, why are you drinking so much?"

Taze rolled his eyes and laughed, "I think the real question here, Princess," He said propping his head up on his hand, "Is why aren't you drinking too much?" Finishing off his whiskey sour, she winked at the cute girl behind the bar and she seemed more than happy to deliver him another one. With a devilish grin from Taze, the little brunette giggled, flushed, and returned to the bar, "Can I buy you a drink?" He asked Cori, returning his gaze to the girl in front of him.

Cori shook her head as he asked why she wasn't drinking too much and soon offered to get her a drink. You know, after flirting with the bartender. Not that it was surprising in any way. Cori raised an eyebrow, "it looks to me like you may not even have to pay for it," she concluded with a little laugh. "But if I get drunk, I wouldn't be able to watch you make a fool of yourself."
