The history class was over. Leo actually enjoyed history class, as it was interesting learning about the crazy history of Greek and Roman mythology. Although, she did notice that there was a certain sadness to Professor Bridges as he taught the lesson. Leo was rather concerned. She knew that a miserable attack had just happened, but most people were trying to move on from that by now. Although, considering that Professor Bridges' lovely wedding had been taking place right before the attack, she could understand why he felt rotten. It was probably the best day of his life turned utterly awry, and he felt sad for himself and his wife. Whatever the case, Leo wanted to linger around and talk to him. She was fond of Bridges and hated to see him this way.
While the other students filed out of the classroom, Leo stayed. She didn't need to attend another class anyway, for it was lunch break. She sat on a desk close to her teacher's desk instead and tilted her head slightly to the side, looking genuinely concerned. "Professor Bridges...are you alright?" she asked. "I couldn't help but notice that you look so glum."

It was his first day back to work since the attack, and Dylan was struggling harder than he had anticipated. The Trojan War sounded more barbaric to him than anything he had ever read, especially now. He was of half a mind to stop teaching it immediately and move on to something else. Why was the Greek history section always so rough?
Whenever the bell finally rang, he couldn't help but sigh with relief. A moment to himself was just what he needed, at least until he saw Leonora making her way to his desk. The question was sweet and innocent, something he'd expect from one of his beloved students. "Why do you ask Ms. Keinz? Surely we all are at this point." He answered slowly, not quite sure how to respond. Part of him felt like he couldn't look her in the eye, knowing what he had done. The boy had been far from innocent, but he was just a boy.

Pan generally enjoyed Professor Bridges classes and today had been no exception. Well, except for the fact that some of their students were missing now due to... due to the attack. Tyler was at work, and Pans head exploded at the mere thought of her, so her just pushed that aside.
When Leo hung back, Pan did the same, moving to stand beside her and wait for the Professors answer as well. When he gave it, Pan nodded. "Yeah Leo... I think everyones gonna be a bit down for a while. But hey," Pan said, turning back to the professor with a forced smile, "you have a family now. Something good came out of it after all," not just that, but Pan had almost died and been revived by the love of his life...
love of his life. ugh.

((LATE but I hope we can continue this.))
Bridges and Pan both pointed out that everyone was glum after the attack. It did make sense, and Leo figured that she was probably a bit downcast about that too. Being a person who moved on quickly, though, she thought she'd been focusing on the present. However, she had seen Pan almost die and his ear cut off, so now that she thought about it, she could almost feel depression creeping back at her.
She wondered if that was all for the professor though. Was there anything else? Well, whatever the case, his sadness was just like all of theirs. She decided not to press further for his individual reasons for being sad and played along with Pan. "I get the hunch," she said. "I guess it just bothers me when the select few who actually mean a lot to me have a frown plastered on their face." She was just being blunt and candid, but for once the daughter of Hermes was not lying.
She smiled. "True, despite all that...warfare, you have a lawfully wedded wife and an unborn child coming," she said, even if she tried not to think that it was because of that reason that he felt awful. After all, he had turned the baby mama into his wife when the warfare happened. "And I suppose Pan and I are something akin to family, so you have us, too. We're still happily skipping into your classes and getting good grades, despite how challenged Pan can be." That last part about Pan was a joke, but she really meant it. She wanted to be here for her professor.
