| Welcome To Villa d'Ambroisie
Villa d'Ambroisie, home to the Dionysus kids, working vineyard and sanctuary. The vineyard itself is about twenty acres large and is built a bit into the woods that are against the fields. Built after the most recent battle between Concordia and Camp Bast, the vineyard is more than it seems. These fields hide a secret, a secret that hopefully means that people can be safe.
|
The Main Gate
The battle with Bast has made it a necessity to have a gate that would hopefully deter attacks and protect citizens of Concordia from any major attacks if they can not fend for themselves. The gates themselves are made out of steel reinforced stone and heavy cast iron meant to keep out the strongest of enemies. But like most walls, it's hard to keep everything out, at least it slows people down. Should the alarm be sounded, the gates lock shut and only a Child of Dionysus can open it.
| |
| The Front Door
The large double doors are made out of solid Quebracho Wood, the wood's name literally means 'Axe Breaker' so it's not going to be the easiest door to break down, should anyone want in. It too is steel reinforced for protection from any on coming attacks. Though it is strong, it is also light making it easy to open when welcoming those who were invited. There are hidden cameras that allow any of the Dio kids to allow entry to anyone with the push of a button.
|
The Look Out Tower
As the name says, this is the look out tower that has been added for not only looks, but for function as well. Anyone sitting up here can see a nearly 360 view of the surrounding area. Not only does it allow for sight, but it makes a great place to attack long range should anyone in the house be good with archery.
| |
| The Foyer and Main Stairs
The foyer is quite large and is basically the center hub that leads do most of the main areas including the living room, kitchen, halls that lead towards the office and gym and a few other hidden nooks and crannies. The ceiling features a Grecian fresco of Dionysus and his 'favorite' 'followers' the maenads.
|
The Living Room
The formal living room is more of a greeting salon than anything else but is quite spacious enough to allow for a rather large party. It features a nearly walk-in fireplace that can heat the entire room as well as views of the vineyard and fields.
| The Library
A quiet place for anyone to relax in. Books from all over have been placed on its selves as Diana is literary fan.
|
The Dining Room
The dining room is just off of the living room and is the main way that someone would get to the kitchen. The views from the dining room look out at the backyard as well as the woods that the land the vineyard was placed on are backed into.
| |
| The Kitchen
Though it does not seem that way, the Kitchen as actually very large and houses two refrigerators, two sinks and two dishwashers along with the chefs stove/oven and a large pantry. Like the dining room, the kitchen opens up to the backyard. There is also a hidden door in the pantry that opens to a stairway that leads down into the cellar.
|
The Cellar
What Child of Dionysus wouldn't have a cellar? What vineyard wouldn't have a cellar? This cellar actually has three different areas coming off from the central hub. This is one of the places that Diana has made sure is at 'safe room' quality, reinforced, with areas to sit and relax as well as be safe from any attack that might come at the island and the home. The central hub also holds the opening to the home theater.
| The Theater Room
Another place that Diana has made sure is of 'Safe Room' quality. Here is where the family and friends can enjoy a movie, or if there is an attack on the island and home, people could watch the news and other cameras hidden around the villa to make sure that there are no enemies lurking about before coming out of hiding. However, Diana hopes that if another attack comes, that this would be a great place to distract the children with movies and cartoons.
|
The Billiards Room
The South facing tower of the Villa is the 'gaming' room where basically, the only game to enjoy is Pool, but it does have a lovely view and a fully stocked bar for those game nights where candy was dandy but liquor made the game quicker (and more hilarious).
| |
| The Backyard
This is where the real party place is held. The backyard has a huge pool (anything worth doing is worth overdoing), a Tennis court and a pathway that leads towards the Stables where Diana has had her favorite horses Sleepy and Brimstone brought over from her home in France. |
Diana's Room
One of many rooms, and one of many master suites within the home, this is the one that Diana chose for herself. She loves her space, there is tons of it in this room.
| Master Suite #2
The second master suite within the Villa. |
@bernard's Suite
The third master suite also has a small loft area for sitting to enjoy a good book.
| Guest Room #1
A small guest room that is open to anyone who may have enjoyed a party with the Dionysus kids just a bit too much. |
Guest Room #2
Another guest room that is fitting for anyone who wishes to stay over. This one is over the walkway that leads to the look out tower, so it also makes a good room for someone on look out duty to crash in should there ever be a reason too.
| |
| The Vineyard
Golden Ambrosia Vineyard, the home of Concordia's most delicious wine. Specializing in Pino Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon.
|
The Aging Area
The best wines are those that have been properly aged, so right now, the barrels within the storage area are currently brand new, however, as a gift from Diana's parents, they have been given ten barrels of Paniers most delicious and sweetest wines. Those ten are ready for a party.
