Almost as soon as he had given his sister the run down on the do's and dont's of running the shop, Tristan lit out of there. Ever since he had started seeing AB, he had wished there was an extra set of hands around. Someone who could give him a break every now and then so he could easily spend time with her. Now, he had one and decided to waste no time in taking advantage of it. Running home to change in to a nicer set of jeans and a clean black t-shirt, Tris made his way to NYSA, where he was sure he would find AB.
Though it was earlier in the evening, the club seemed to be in full swing. Of course, more people were coming out in order to distract themselves from what was going on around them. If they were here, they didn't have to think about a battle or the depressing things that came with it. Ignoring the dancers and the drinkers, Tris made his way towards the bar. "Hey, is AB around?" He asked one of the familiar bartenders, and then smiled whenever one of them said she was in fact in for the night. This was turning out fairly well, if he had to say so himself.

Annabeth was behind the bar in the upstairs party room. A balcony to her right overlooked the rest of the club and from her spot, standing uncomfortably on a bar stool, she could see Tristan talking to her bartender, "Tris!" She yelled in between two songs so he could hear, "Upstairs!" She climbed down to her knees so she could grab another large box of vodka. Heaving loudly, she pushed the box up so it sat on top of the bar shelf. The bar stool beneath her feet started to rock back and forth and she screamed as it toppled over sending her toward the floor.

Tristan grinned at the sight of her and took off up the stairs to be where she was. Luckily, he made it just in time to see the stool she was standing on start to sway. Picking up the pace, he managed to get right behind her as she fell, grabbing her before she could hit the ground. "Well, hello to you too beautiful." He greeted, setting her back down on her feet before wrapping his arms around her. "Are you okay?" Tristan's voice was full of concern as he looked over both her and the bar, trying to assess the damage.

Annabeth laughing as she stood there, shaking her head at his concern, "Of course I'm all right. I can handle myself." She grinned as the music started again. AB looked at the rest of the boxes that sat in a neat stack on the floor, "I need you to let me go so I can finish stocking this bar. The Authority is havin' some sorta official gatherin' in here." She pried herself from Tris's grasp and lifted another box above and setting it on the counter before moving a bar stool so she could climb on it again.

"Of course they are." Tris replied with a chuckle before reaching over to grab another box. Hoisting it on to the bar, he started stocking the area closest to her so that he could steady the bar stool if it shook again. AB was strong and capable...but that thing was going to throw her pretty soon. If he didn't think she'd beat him with it, he'd invest in a step ladder for her. Nope, overprotective boyfriend mode did NOT work for her, and he was cool with that. Most of the time. "So, guess what happened today." He said conversationally, placing bottles of alcohol on the shelves in their appropriate places.

Annabeth looked down at him from her spot perched on the bar stool, "You know I ain't so into guessin' babe." She laughed, bending down to grab another box and shove it on top of the shelf, "So what happened?" She asked, climbing down and looking at him expectantly. She hadn't told him about her newest investment and wondered if he found out.

"Well, I just got some more free time." He grinned, wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her close. "Apparently I have a roman half sister in need of a job and wouldn't you know I was hiring." Kissing her lightly, he pulled away so that she could go back to work if she wanted to. "Which means I now have significantly more time to pester you during the day...and to keep you from being killed by bucking bar stools."

Annabeth smiled widely, "Perfect, so you can help me with my new bar!" She gushed, walking passed him to avoid his reaction to her dropping the bomb of the Horse on him without actually gearing up for the news. He had no idea she had even purchased the space, let alone almost finished the set up. In fact, she was going to head that way in a few minutes to finish off some decor before Tristan had arrived, "I'm headed that way now."

Tris was both shocked and amused by the news. "I was thinking lunch or dinner, but okay. New bar?" He questioned, following her as she walked away. For the life of him he couldn't think of her mentioning something like that. It didn't bother him though. She was great at what she did, and he knew she loved it. "Where is this new bar and where'd it come from?"

She grinned at him, "Oh, babe, you'll love it." Annabeth gushed. She started toward the staircase that led back down to the ground floor and beckoned him to follow, "Let me just tell the bartenders to be ready for the Magisters and I'll show you!" She pleaded, starting down the stairs.

Frowning slightly, Tristan followed Annabeth down the stairs, waiting for her by the door before heading to his bike. At least he could drive if they were going on a field trip. "Alright, where to?" He questioned as soon as she left the building. "And why another place? What's wrong with NYSA?" More bars meant more work for her, something that he was definitely NOT looking forward to now that he had some time on his own hands.
