take a deep breath

Breathe in. Breathe out. Her eyes focused on the target ahead, her arrow aimed straight for the bullseye. Azalea was not a natural fighter, being a daughter of Demeter, but she had taken up archery for another form of defense. On the way to learning, she fell in love with it. But it was not an easy road.  Azalea could remember her first few times of trying to learn the art. The brunette made many mistakes, and at first, didn't even hold the weapon right. She was determined though, and vowed to master it. It was because of someone she now called friend, that she was able to. Taking in another breath, Aza let the arrow fly as she let the breath out. The arrow shot straight and hit the target. Smiling, she bounced a bit with joy. It still made her overjoyed when she hit it right. She was sure she would never get over that feeling of accomplishment, especially with something such as archery. @kkram265 notes: hope it's alright!

As he approached the range he saw Aza taking some practice shots, her form had definitely improved over the last several years. Ever since camp she had been working on her skill smiling he began laughing once her arrow hit its mark and her reaction, "Always the same reaction. You are quite the shot now Aza, though you need to work on moving targets or taking shots while you are moving." Once he was next to her he gave her a soft hug before setting his own items down. "What have you been up to lately, I didn't see you when I was at the hospital recently."

A familiar voice rang through her ears, making her smile only brighten. "I can't help it. It excites me when I shoot right." She answered him, before nodding in recognition to his next statement. "You're right, I do. Maybe you can teach me, almighty teacher." She teased, before hugging him back. It was nice to see her friend again. Not that she didn't on a normal basis... When he ended up in the hospital.  "I've been there." She told him, keeping her eyes on him. "Maybe I was helping someone else at the time. What did you do this time Dante?" She asked him with a slight roll of her eyes. The man seemed to live in that place. @kkram265

Almighty teacher? Who did she think she was talking to? Dante started laughing at her comment but managed to pull himself together enough to hear her ask what he did this time. "Hey! I don't always get hurt, I just happen to work in a dangerous field and train a lot of green recruits. This time, however, I was on a run in the woods when one of the Hunters of Artemis shot me with an arrow. Nathan wasn't all that happy." Smiling he took out his personal bow and strung it and then he tested it, perfect he grabbed two arrows and then ran towards the target and let one shot go before dropping to a roll and firing as he exited both hitting just on the edge of the bullseye. Smiling he walked to the target and pulled out the three arrows out and ran back towards Aza, "It takes practice but at the same time you need to trust yourself."
