Accalia had heard that Teres ship was leaving the island, probably for good. She went to the docks, as if she was going to say goodbye to her... or something. But the truth was, she was afraid that Jason would be on it. She made it just in time to see the ship setting sail and watched from the docks, arms folded across her chest. That's when she saw it, a glimpse of him working on of the sails along with the crew. She was right.
The ship went further onward and she didn't yell, didn't call out his name. It was too late now, and she didn't know what to say. Then the ship was gone, out of sight. She didn't know how long she had been standing there staring at it when it finally hit her. She had been left behind, just like with Geoff. She should be used to that sort of thing by now, right?
But no. Her hands went up to cover her face and she cried.
