Right now the easiest way to get close to her is to be directly involved with her work and to do your job well. Her temper is short and her patience can be thin, so tread carefully. Enemies: Pretty much anyone who she can blame her current misfortunes in life on. She also doesn't take kindly to people thinking less of her because of how she acted at camp. Lovers: Mel isn't very interested in a relationship right now. She's still pretty hurt over losing so many people in her life so fast. There are few exceptions to this rule.
