CHARACTER CREATION

• How long can a new character app be pending?
• How strict are the word minimums on that application?

• Can I make an Egyptian or Titan Demi-God character?
• Does my character have to be new to the island, or can they have lived there a while?

• I want my character to have a magical item, can I give them one?
• Can I play the Chancellor or the Commander?
• I see that someone has been inactive for a few weeks and they have something (faceclaim, job, etc.) that I want, can I get it from them since they probably aren't coming back?

• Do I have to have read the Percy Jackson Books to know what is going on?
• How are people found and brought to Concordia?
• Can we leave the island whenever we want or are we trapped there?

QUESTING

• How do I go on a quest?
• If, for some reason, I have to leave a quest in the middle, do I still get credit for finishing it when my quest mates finish?

ACTIVITY CHECKS

• If I fail an activity check, what happens to my character(s)?
• If my characters are deleted after an activity check, can I bring them back?

I WAS A MEMBER BEFORE THE RE-BOOT, CAN I BRING BACK MY OLD CHARACTERS?

No. We have removed all of the apps that were used for the characters who played here prior to our recent re-boot. You are more than welcome to re-create any character that you had on here before, but they will need to be created from scratch to match with the slightly different plot we have set up on the site now.

I WAS A MEMBER BEFORE THE RE-BOOT AND I USED TO HAVE AN AWESOME JOB! CAN I GET IT BACK?

All of the claims, including jobs, faces, and any other claims, are completely reset. This means that just because you used a certain acrtess for a face, it does not mean you can come back and take that face again if a new member has already claimed it. Claims, as always, are first come first serve.

HOW LONG CAN A CHARACTER APP BE PENDING?

Character apps that have not yet been accepted are always considered pending. These apps will remain in the "PENDING APPLICATIONS" board until they have been UNEDITED for two weeks (This is easily seen in the lower right hand corner of the application). At that time they will be moved to the "DENIED APPLICATIONS" board and the writer will be asked to restart.

HOW STRICT ARE THE WORD MINIMUMS IN THAT APPLICATION?

The word minimums are a HARD limit. Which means if it says 100 words minimum, it means 100 words or more. 99 words will not be acceptable. There is a word counter available in the left hand table for your convenience!

CAN MY CHARACTER HAVE A POWER NOT ALREADY ON THE POWER LIST?

Of course! We only ask that it make sense for whatever god or goddess you have chosen for your parent and that it be explain thoroughly. Keep in mind, though, that the staff does reserve the right to reject any powers that are not already on our list on the basis of inappropriate placement with a certain god or goddess, or if they are deemed too powerful.

I DON'T SEE THE HUNTERS OF ARTEMIS ON HERE. CAN I MAKE ONE?

Because the Hunters of Artemis remain with their Goddess, they did not come to Concordia. Because of this, we do not accept them as members on the site at this time.

CAN I CREATE A CREATURE, LIKE A CENTAUR OR A SATYR?

We do not allow the creation of centaurs and satyrs, as they do not live on Concordia generally.

CAN I MAKE AN EGYPTIAN OR TITAN DEMI-GOD CHARACTER?

We do not accept Titan or Egyptian character creation. This site is for Greek and Roman demi-gods only.

DOES MY CHARACTER HAVE TO BE NEW TO THE ISLAND, OR CAN THEY HAVE LIVED THERE A WHILE?

As long as your history supports it, your character can have lived on Concordia for as long, or as little amount of time as you would like.

CAN I START IN A HIGH RANKING JOB, OR DO I NEED TO WORK MY WAY UP?

As all claims are, the jobs claims are first come first serve. But the higher ranking jobs do have certain requirements that have to be met. Whether these requirements are met via the character application, or in character roleplay, is completely up to you.

CAN I CREATE A CHARACTER CANON TO THE BOOKS?

We are an Alternate Universe to the Percy Jackson series. In our world, those characters never existed. They are not playable.

I WANT MY CHARACTER TO HAVE A MAGICAL ITEM. CAN I GIVE THEM ONE?

All claimed demi-gods can have a SINGLE magical item assuming it is properly documented in their profile. If you did not add it into your profile, there are opportunities to gain more magical items by completing quests through the oracle.

CAN I PLAY THE CHANCELLOR OR THE COMMANDER?

These characters are NPC and are not playable. The same goes for The Oracle.

I SEE THAT SOMEONE HAS BEEN INACTIVE FOR A FEW WEEKS AND THEY HAVE SOMETHING (FACECLAIM, JOB, ETC.) THAT I WANT. CAN I GET IT FROM THEM SINCE THEY ARE PROBABLY NOT COMING BACK?

We try to do regular activity checks once a month or so. If you see that we have not done an activity check within the last month, and the person who currently has a claim has not been active, feel free to PM an Admin. We will hold an activity check and get things sorted out. Only after the holder has failed an activity check can you claim a face or job that they have.
