WHERE IS CONCORDIA LOCATED?

Although the location is not 100% certain, we know that it is located somewhere in the Sea of Monsters, or the Bermuda Triangle. Depending on who you talk to. To see a map of Concordia, click HERE.

DO I HAVE TO HAVE READ THE PERCY JACKSON BOOKS TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON?

Our site is completely AU (Alternate Universe). Basically what that means is as long as you have read our plot, you are pretty well equipped to join our site and play. I do recommend you read the books though, because they are really awesome!

HOW ARE PEOPLE FOUND AND BROUGHT TO CONCORDIA?

The Oracle, on a pretty regular basis, will upload new names to a data base. These names are filtered to two elite Garrison Units (unplayable) who venture to the mainland and collect demi-gods.

The new Concordians are then brought through a large tunnel of water created by Poseidon and integrated in to the new Greco-Roman society created on Concordia, where they are safe from Egyptian and Titan assassins.

CAN WE LEAVE THE ISLAND OR ARE WE TRAPPED THERE?

Leaving the island can only be sanctioned by the Chancellor. For the sake of the island's security, and the safety of the residents, no one is authorized to leave the island without approval of the Chancellor. People who leave the island are generally merchants going to trade goods at the mainland, and demi-gods who have been approved to go on quests.

HOW DO YOU EARN RANKS IN THE GARRISON?

Ranks are first come first serve to those who have the proper requirements. If these requirements are written into the character history in the application, then you can claim any open position that you would like. If you start as a recruit or another low level, and wish to work your way up, consult with a staff member on ways to up your training quota to qualify for the higher rankings.

DO YOU ACTUALLY HOLD ELECTIONS FOR THE MAGISTER POSITIONS?

At this time, we have not held elections for the Magister positions. That  does not mean we will not. But at the moment we do not have any sort of structure for this, as there are many open Magister positions.

HOW DO I GO ON A QUEST?

There is a board called QUESTS that have a claim board available. There are a number of open quests that you can sign up for on that board. Each quest will have it's own separate requirements and are done on a case by case basis.

IF, FOR SOME REASON, I HAVE TO LEAVE A QUEST IN THE MIDDLE, DO I STILL GET CREDIT FOR FINISHING IT WHEN MY QUEST MATES FINISH?

Many quests have more than one person on them. In the event that one of these questing demi-gods does not post in the quest during the course of a week, there will be a staff run NPC post writing them out of the quest. Those members will not be allowed to collect any sort of reward for the quest and it will be as if they were never on the quest in the first place.

As for the members of the quest who are left, they will be allowed, at the time of the NPC post, to continue as normal. If there is only one person left on the quest, at the time of the NPC post, accommodations will be made from the posting admin in order to allow that member to complete the quest and collect any reward that may be associated with it.

As for the members who were taken off the quest due to lack of activity, there is a simple consequence chart as list below:

First offense - none
Second offense - one month probation from the date of the NPC post. The member will not be allowed to post in quests with the offending character while on probation.
Third offense - one month probation where the member can not post in quests with ANY character that they may control.
Fourth offense - member will be banned from questing until the admins see to release them from their punishment.

HOW MANY QUESTS CAN I BE IN AT A TIME?

Out limit currently is one quest per character at a time, but this is subject to change at the staff discretion.

CAN I SUGGEST A QUEST TO THE ORACLE?

If you have an idea for a quest, you are more than welcome to fill out the form provide under the QUESTS board. It will require you to state how many people you will be taking with you, and the steps you will go through to reach the end. Once it has been submitted, the staff will look it over and create a thread for your quest, complete with the members listed and the steps.

IF I FAIL AN ACTIVITY CHECK, WHAT HAPPENS TO MY CHARACTER(S)?

Immortal Heroes runs about one activity check per month. If you do not meet the requirements of the activity check as they are listed in the designated thread. If yo do not meet the requirements of the activity check then your account will be deleted unless you have posted in the ABSENCES board and stated that you will be coming back.

IF MY CHARACTER(S) ARE DELETED AFTER AN ACTIVITY CHECK, CAN I BRING THEM BACK?

So you failed an activity check and your characters were deleted. It's only natural that you would ant them back. Lucky for you, we understand that you want those characters back! Just PM a staff member and we will get you all set up! The only consequence? You lose your post counts.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ACTIVITY CHECKS?

We run two kinds of activity checks here on IH. The first kind is a small, unobtrusive type of check where the only requirement is that you have logged in sometimes in the last two weeks. The second is larger, requiring that you have made all of your claims and made at least one post. There are also other requirements that may be asked of you on a check-by-check basis. These requirements will be detailed in each activity check thread.
