"Dude's one of my best friends. The com lines only get more open if I move in. I prefer the barracks though, closer to work." Setting the glass on the bar, he moved around it and felt around for a second before moving the rug. Sure enough, a trap door. How cliche. Pulling it open, he used the flashlight on his phone to inspect the relatively small crawl space. "not too hard to find that one."

Eda shrugged and proceeded to lean over the bar, watching Shane find a trap door. Very cliché, very expected.
"Well. It seems like you have a phone to communicate with. And that...ugh. Decoy? I mean, if you found that in the first ten seconds after our conversation, I'd guess less for someone who already had the intention."
Unimpressed, Andromeda gave a sound of disdain. Either this got better or it got worse. So far, she didn't have much faith in it getting better.

"You can definitely tell they didn't consult anyone. The rug is too obvious. Move the bar back a couple feet and add a plastic mat, wouldntve looked at it twice." Setting his phone down, shane grabbed on to the sides of the hatch and lowered himself down. It was small, barely tall enough for him to stand in. "No supplies, very little breathing room, no sign of an air vent. And, to make things even better, no way to replace the rug. I can't wait to see what's in the next room. " the sarcasm in his voice wasn't even veiled now. This was the stupidest thing he had ever seen.

"...even if it's just a decoy it tips them off to other places. If there winds up being a book lever in a bookshelf, I'm out."
She sighed. If she was just wasting her time, she was going to be pissed.
And she'd raise Tartarus.

"Agreed. This is starting to feel like a bad movie." It sure was cheesy enough. Using the small ladder attached to the side of the shelter, Shane climbed out and closed it. The rug was the least of his concerns. Rage was boiling beneath his nonchalant surface, though he tried to fend it off. Odikinetics and frustrations were not friends, and the son of Ares was no exception. "Pick your poison. Kitchen or living room?" He asked, turning to look at the two readily available areas. The kitchen did not sound like a place he wanted to be as the music began pulsing from the room. They were here to talk, not dance.

Eda didn't even flinch, didn't even hesitate.
"Living room."
She noted her own rising ire and closed her eyes, clenching them shut a moment. With a slow exhale she opened her eyes and turned abruptly to move off. Screw people.

Shane entered the more quiet room and looked around it for a moment. Again they had several oddly placed rugs, a few pieces of conspicuously placed furniture, and of course the ever present cliche book shelves. He shook his head and clenched his fists, his irritation starting to get the best of him.
"I don't even know where to start with this one that wouldnt get me written up for vandalism." He seethed, pushing the chair back as he did. Realizing that he probably looked like a raging idiot in front of a commanding officer, he finally turned back to Meadows and gritted out an explanation. "Sorry. Odikinetics and stupidity don't mix well." At least he had a decent handle on his power. If she was getting irritates, it would be her own emotions instead of his.
